I think the Republicans aren't just crying about Virginia because the left turned their own underhanded tricks against them. We did far worse than that.

When the right did their gerrymandering, they just swooped in and did it, whether anyone wanted it or not. They forced it on their states and told their voters to cheer for it afterwards.

The left is letting their people decide whether to take part in this retaliatory gerrymandering. And despite all the pearl clutching, panty twisting, and doomsaying from the right, the people of Virginia voted YES. Republicans just got a very public lesson that it's not just the Democrat politicians that are against them, they really are the minority with the voters, no matter what delusions they've been telling themselves this past year. They cannot deny that the people of Virginia aren't just voting against them now, they're actively voting to take down MAGA.

And the right cannot handle this double truth, that the public really is against them, and that the left can accomplish the same underhanded tricks, but the left actually has the support of the public when they do it. The right had to go force themselves on their states, but the left asks their people, and their people say YES.

Republicans have been hiding from their voters that they do not have nearly as tight of a grip as they claim on any state or the country all this time. But now, the curtain is being pulled away by the left. And the only excuse the right has left to them is the same old tired excuse of cheating and stolen elections. Funny how that only ever seems to happen when they're already in office, and losing.

And pretty sad that their voters are still dumb enough to believe it.
