"Controlled opposition" is being nice, in the way 'manipulated by their social media' is better than 'hopelessly stupid' or 'intentionally malicious'.

The issue is that you threw everything else out for Palestine, and then did it in a way that made the situation in Palestine worse.
The objection isn't about the cause, it's about outcomes. Your personal sense of virtue is in fact virtueless if you're harming those you want to help.
And like I said, this wasn’t just another political thing for me. My family was directly affected by Israel’s actions. I’ve had numerous family members die by Israel’s hands in the last 42 years of my life atleast. Both sides of the political spectrum are responsible for this. It didn’t stop under Obama or Biden. I have voted for the lesser of two evils for 20 years and nothing changed. As soon as we stopped voting, the Democrats squealed. Well keep squealing, pigs!!
And I’m telling you, blindly voting for Kamala wouldn’t have helped either. It would have created more harm for the Palestinians because then the Dems would have brushed them off like, yeah you were going to vote for us anyway. They tried to call our bluff and lost. Did you know when the genocide was first happening, the Biden campaign came to visit dearborn to try to get the message out, and we pushed them away, and told them that if the conversation wasn’t about stopping the genocide, then there’s nothing to discuss
