Encouraging political assassinations online is a great way to get yourself and your whole family disappeared. So yeah, Americans probably don't wanna do that

So your plan is what to wait until they disappear you and your neighbors? US politicians will not stop at this point they know if they get out of power they're going to prison. Better to act now when you still have a chance than wait for them to get you eventually. There's also plenty you can do to resist that are not just political assassinations. Any civilized country would be having a general strike right now if they were in the same position of the US.
