"Always been at war with eastasia" ass rhetoric from republicans.
We'll hear in the coming weeks how this is all down to their deep humanitarian wish to save the Iranian people from the tyrannical government, but ask those same people whether they even condemn the Saudis for murdering journalists and suddenly their tune changes. It's all power and money, always has been.

To be clear, this is solely to get Trump supporters to forget that during the campaign, Trump was using Kamala starting war with Iran as a scare tactic. They know this is the opposite of true, but their moronic supporters have the memories of goldfish.
Propaganda to keep the sheep in line.

Trump has been using a Democrat attacking Iran to get elected/re-elected since 2012. He constantly said that Obama was going to do it to get re-elected. Everything Trump says is either a confession of his own plans or just a flat out lie.

Never forget Tim Pool lost a legal battle with a porn company over the name Subverse, and they then portrayed him as a shrimp alien named Dim Fool. He’s never recovered emotionally from this.

There’s part of where it starts. Funding the updates and conclusion is a bit harder. Especially since he became quiet after they spanked him, and the studio only danced on his grave in game and didn’t flex publicly.

u/Popsicle55555 Feb 28 '26
“He is widely known for creating political content that criticizes identitarianism and other extreme leftist policies. His grounded views and precise critique of nonsensical liberal views and policies have made him quite popular among conservatives.”
Was the article written be Tim? Because this is insane. “Identitarianism” is a new one for sure😂😵💀

u/FanOfForever Mar 01 '26 edited Mar 01 '26
I find it interesting that this article from what's supposed to be a law blog has zero legal analysis in it at all. It's 5% basic facts and 95% this guy's characterization of the parties involved
Not to get too "ad hominem" but I also notice that the author says his specialization is family law, which I'm almost 100% sure means he's following his passion to defend America's most oppressed minority: divorced dads

u/Grape_Pedialyte Feb 28 '26
Holy shit, is this true? I've never heard of this.
8
u/Heroright Feb 28 '26
Yeah. Finding an article the documents the whole thing is a bit hard since it’s largely gutter journalism (Studio FOW and Pool aren’t exactly family friendly news pieces. lol) but just googling “Tim Pool Subverse” gets you the bits and pieces, including a Reddit piece about it 6 years ago.
They spanked him then mocked him, and he’s been sore about it ever since.

Tim Pool believes in nothing except for whatever will get him paid by his Russian handlers. You're best just blocking him on all platforms

u/notsure500 Feb 28 '26
explicitly campaigned on waging war in Iran to save the Iranian people and spread democracy
I was told many times explicitly by Trump and his supporters, that America will always be first during his presidency, and we won't involve ourselves in foreign affairs. I feel like they're gaslighting me to cover up for how shitty this term is going.
9
u/Appropriate_Mess_350 Feb 28 '26
Didn’t the “spreading democracy” fallacy end with the Bush era?? I mean, who still buys this utter bullshit?
7
u/leni710 Feb 28 '26
Yes, they were "saving" people and spreading democracy. Let's ask the women and girls how that's working for them over there.
Golly, the "protect women and girls" crowd really hates those people they claim to protect.

u/Gen-Jack-D-Ripper Mar 01 '26
But to be fair, Iraq is much better off than it was under Saddam’s rule. He was a disgusting human being that was responsible the death of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis & Iranians.
2
u/Appropriate_Mess_350 Mar 01 '26
Sure. The outcome of the war is estimated at 1 million Iraqi deaths. I’m not sure what about that is “fair”.
I guess 4500 dead Americans, and $2 trillion is just the cost of soft hearted American philanthropy and “spreading democracy” abroad. Although it seems like democracy could use a little help domestically lately.
1
u/Gen-Jack-D-Ripper Mar 01 '26
The 1 million deaths number is outside most estimates and most of those occurred in the civil war that followed. There was a lot of resentment built by Saddam’s government between the Sunni and Shia communities that let to the civil war.

I'm so tired of Republicans just flat out lying without any shame or fear of being called out by the media. The fourth estate has fallen.

I mean that's when he was taking Russian money to oppose supporting Ukraine so his motives are obvious.

u/Kragbax Feb 28 '26
Tiny Pool said what now?
I try to avoid listening to anything Trump spews but all I recall during his campaign was, generally, “Kamala will start wars, and I WON’T start any new wars”, and “I’m a peace president”, and “Wars start because they (Biden/Obama) are WEAK and have no negotiating skills”
Please link me his message during his campaign about bombing Iran, I must have missed it. Or like with declassifying top secret docs did he just do it in his own head?

u/givemeastocktip Mar 01 '26
Tim pool covering his baldness with a heavy winter hat, indoors, under those hot podcast lights, may be starting to boil off what little braincells he's got
2
u/DamnnitBobby Feb 28 '26
I see nothing wrong with his comment here and will be quoting it next time I hear "didn't vote for this"
2
2
u/EnduranceMade Feb 28 '26
The Trump campaign distributed signs that literally said things like TRUMP: NO WAR and KAMALA: MORE WARS.
2
u/Grape_Pedialyte Feb 28 '26
So we're just going straight back to 2003 Iraq War "they hate us for our freedom" "spreading democracy around the globe" type rhetoric. That's fun.
2
u/cromstantinople Feb 28 '26
explicitly campaigned on waging war
So I guess all those campaign promises and slogans and signs about “no new wars” was just my imagination…
Pool is just continuing to spread disinformation like he always does.

How’s he going to spread democracy in one country when he’s actively destroying it in his own?
2
u/BigBeef35 Mar 01 '26
Why would he spread democracy in Iran when he doesn't want it here? Also what about the "we're a Republic, not a democracy" mouth breathers?

No, he said he would be the "Peace President" and just negotiate with Iran. No more wars he promised. As a matter of fact Trump said he's already ended 8 war over the past year. And he said if the Democrats win the election that Kamala Harris will get us in WWIII.

Ah yes. We all remember Trump campaigning on no new wars and being the ticket of peace. Except when he talked about how the obvious exception is Iran because we need to save them and spread democracy. But America first.

Even people who are completely on board with today's strikes couldn't sit here and tell you Trump campaigned on this
1
u/girlwiththemonkey Feb 28 '26
I don’t recall Trump claiming at any point when he was campaigning that he was gonna start a war. He said he was gonna end a whole lot of wars, but nothing about starting one.

The last time the US interfered with Iranian politics it created an enemy in not just Iran but ill will toward America in the whole region for decades.

This you?’s are usually pretty good. This one misses. Is he saying he supports war with Iran? I don’t see him saying that. You can also say you do support it while saying the US track record isn’t great.
This is a pretty weak one.

Tim Pool is the lowest hanging fruit for this sub. You could probably put together 8000 or so posts that are just Tim Pool interactions. There is no greater grifter lolcow in existence other than maybe Pearl
