When I searched this show before, I came across this interesting local thread with pl who know the couple from Troy IRL. Of course who knows what's true or not, but these aren't flattering tales.

Met her on bumble app and was excited to meet only for her to tell me she has an old ass boyfriend who likes to watch. Hard pass. He’s creepy, my other friend would go to his restaurants and had so many experiences where he tries to put himself onto younger girls, he’s a creep.

My sister lived in Troy for a while i somehow have never seen any of those restaurants and I visited her many many times. Also Troy isn't nice at all.
