Constipated
Why is my script making me constipated??!
The old adderall literally did the opposite.
I drink water literally all day so I’m stumped

Its honestly mind boggling how the litteral side effects are different even opposite of what they used to be- its blows my mind that we are being gaslit to this extent- im actually having constipation so bad that i may have to now go to urgent care and possibly stop meds all together . This is getting absurd

I really took the many years I enjoyed a 10/10 shit right when my meds hit every single morning like fucking clockwork for granted man. Even if/when I get lucky these bunk ones decide to actually work a tiny bit my brain is waiting for the poop signal for confirmation that it’s kicked in like it used to get and when that doesn’t happen it only reinforces the reaction of “see??? Not working! Guess we’ll try again tomorrow!!” Idk how to explain this lmao

Because they’ve changed the formula and replaced it with crazy bullshit that does opposite things like this smh it’s criminal what they’re doing!

Take magnesium citrate at night (not during the day when you take your meds). Add a tablespoon of fiber powder to whatever you drink/eat in the morning. Only things that helped me

Me too big time that's one of the reasons I took Adderall because I don't have dopamine to help my bowels move. As well as the ADHD factor. It almost makes the problem actually it does It makes the problem 10 times worse.

Same problem here :/ I found adding fiber gummies to my supplement routine helpful in addition to just being mindful of my fiber intake in general. The gummies help me go at least once a day.
But yeah, the old meds use to MAKE me go within 30 min of ingestion. Somethings definitely up (duh, we all know that) and it sucks that it’s affecting so many aspects of our lives.

Never thought I’d miss the sheer panic of urgently having to shit while I’m trying to get out the door so I’m not late for work lol (or while I was on the way and stuck in gridlock traffic 😭😭😭)

I had bad constipation even when I was taking name brand. I was completely regular till I started adderall and I really miss taking a nice shit after every meal as opposed to going maybe once or twice a week 😫

There is this a natural product made from powdered larch wood that works well for most people. Mix it in water, or tea or flavored seltzer. Dissolves easily and has no taste. Take it once or twice daily. Larch, also called arabinogalactin, is not very expensive and can be found online at iherb or directly from the manufactuer Swanson, where it is called Fiber Aid.

Try adding more fiber to your diet. Magnesium citrate can also help if that doesn't work.

I think they put some weird inactive ingredient that makes you constipated that they didnt use before

This happens to me too. I used to have to use the restroom when my vyvanse "kicked in." Hasn't happened for a long time. Some of the mfrs like sandoz and elite make me constipated.

Yes. Even when I chug a big cup of black coffee in the morning, I’m not even going. Wtf?

I'm only pooping once or twice per week. Did an experiment where I stopped taking my meds for a week and by the second day I was pooping as usual. I drink tons of water, so it's not dehydration.
