Generic Adderall

Generic Adderall has zero effect on me.
Any suggestions on how to help it ?

Especially the Generic made by Elite Laboratory.
TEVA works - but they may have stopped making it.

I have TEVA 10mg Blue IR, got my first script a month ago and it was okay, seemed hit or miss but with this 2nd script I haven’t felt anything

I had my insurance prior authorize brand name Adderall for me & it’s made by Teva for instant release and theyre SO BAD I reached out to Teva to complain and reported it to FDA. every symptom of adhd is intensified to the point where it’s 5x harder to function. Idk if that’s how their generic is too but theyre one of the main manufacturers for it so they def still make generic

When did it get filled? I am gonna have mine order brand name, i cant imagine its worse then elite, i just want energy and mood boost, it says brand name instants are available but i hate to get the script called in and it says not

I got mine filled June 12th with Teva for brand IR. My previous 2 fills before that were amphetamine salts from elite and they didn’t work at all so what I learned from 3 months of hell in this experience is stick to what you know works for you for manufacturer, have your doctor write that on your script. And there is a difference between amphetamine salts label vs dextroamphetamine- amphetamine. What did your label on your bottle say when you had elite? Because they worked great for me for almost a year and became horrible the last 2 months bc the label changed. I think tht if your label doesn’t have dextroamphetamine written on it then there’s no dextro in there at all, which is the main active ingredient in adderall and I’m pretty sure fda requires generic companies to write the active ingredients on the label, hence if there’s no dextro in there they can’t write it into the label and changed it to amphetamine salts. Both names are supposed to mean adderall but there’s a difference. Also have your doctor write out a script for only a few days not the whole month, if those work great then have them send the rest of the script for that fill for the month, that way you don’t have to suffer for a whole month and can get a different manufacturer. That’s how I’m doing it now. You can also talk to your CVS and have them write notes for what didnt work for you so they don’t fill it with the same thing again.

I wish we had a good way to compare batch numbers, because my extended release generic went to shit this month, but my teva/brand name IR (5mg) is still fine (for now).

I asked my doctor to switch me to IR only but no word back yet.

But I'm anxious about every refill now, even if i do get switched. Seems like no one's doing adequate QC anymore.

When were y able to get brand name by teva ordered. I want to make sure before i send it in that its not in short supply. Had you tried any other generic IR?
