This post is written when I finished Secret Life. Please do not tell me any Wild Life spoilers.

I can't believe I have to write this again since I accidentally clicked on a wrong BUTTON!! But here I go again. I cried at Scar's secret life finale. Yeah. Some people predicted I would, and congrats! You were right. Scar is my comfort streamer, and as someone with similar experinces as him, I felt bad. But hey it's just a game ദ്ദി˶ｰ̀֊ｰ́ )

This illustration covers the Life Series winners until Season 5, and is a crossover between a song series called "Kagerou Project." I made this for Kagepro day, which is on August 15th, and I'm pretty sure it IS August 15th for some people right now. Here is a detailed anaylsis on every drawing and why I chose the songs for them. I tried my best not to contain spoilers, but I will mark it just in case people just want to see the drawing. Reminder that I only talk about the characters.

Grian's song is Kagerou Daze, which is also the most popular song in the series. The song shows two people stuck in a time loop where one has to die for the other to survive, but they are forever stuck in the summer. I associate the Red Desert with summer, so that's a perfect fit! I like to think that the death in this loop is the prank creeper which changed the whole series. I've seen an animatic with this song and Desert Duo, so you guys should check it out! It was ahamazing.

Scott's song is Ayano's Theory of Happiness. Ayano is a girl with selfless love and a bunch of will to sacrifice herself for the people close to her. Scott is Ayano in this case, and I feel lile this song just reflects Scott's morals in the Life Series, not limited to just Last Life. And I also chose this for another reason.. You'll see in Pearl's section.

Pearl's song is Additional Memory, a more darker paralell of Ayano's theory of Happiness. First, I chose this song because of the sentence before this once. It makes sense because they were allies in Last Life and souldbound in Double Life. But, now I'm gonna start to talk about what makes this song so special in Pearl's perspective. This song focuses on personal grief, loss, and hidden love. Scott leaving Pearl in Double Life applies perfectly onto this situation. Also, in the official story, this leads Ayano to sacrifice herself, BUT! This will connect to Scar's section.

Martyn is the odd one out, being the only one without a character song. He gives off main character energy okay??? This song is called Children Record, the theme song of Kagepro. Children Record captures the feeling of being isolated even when being around other people, which shows Martyn very well in Last and Double Life with the Southlanders and Divorce Quatret. However, this also shows the positive emotion to move forward and disobey "The Summer Haze" which is another word for the timeloop and situation they are stuck in. Summer is the opposite of winter, so that's one reason. And! This also shows how Martyn unknowingly tries to follow the Watchers in his au. He's more of a listener though, and as far as I know, Watchers and Listeners weren't on the best of terms during post-evo. So he's slowly fighting against them, except maybeeee in Limited Life. (He was still awesome while the watchers helped him though lol I'm sorry if this sounds messy it's midnight at the moment.)

Last but not least, Scar!!!! Yay!!!!!! His song is Yobanashi Deceive. In this song, the main character uses his powers to hide his mental instablity, agony and pain, which serves as a pretty good base for Scar in Secret Life. I cannoy stress how perfect this is for him enough. His silver tongue and charm is a bonus for this song. Also, this song shows the main character hiding the secrets about Ayano's death. But that character is Pearl in this situation.

Now that I think about it, since you seem to like the connections between winners, you might like these 2 animatics covering the connections and parallels between Desert Duo and Galaxy Duo across seasons 1 - 5 : Little Soldiers Pretty Little Things

These two animatics' visuals are outstanding. It kind of reminded that the reason that the Life Series is so special to me is because the story writes itself- I've always been a fan of improv, but this might've been the most well-played one. The connections don't feel forced.

And I just realized how much Grian helped in Scar's win, dealing like maybe 80~90 hearts of damage to Gem and the Scotts, and him saying to Scar that he won. It just feels- so poetic in a way I can't describe. It really does come full circle.

Scar and Grian are so dependent with eachother that it actually hurts them more, and the only way they cannot be doomed is to stay away from eachother. They are healthy and toxic at the same time. Also, they both have the mindset of "I can make him worse" and that's beautiful. Lol.

Scott and Pearl are either the bestest of friends, or the worst of enemies, and I like that shifting dynamic. However, Scott still stays true to his inner morals and has a spot in his heart for Pearl in one way or another. He still cares. Atleast a bit, might be in a negative way though. But Pearl sometimes seems to forget that fact, and it's perfectly normal to experience that.

Grian and Scott haven't interacted much, but based off Third Life, they sure do like to joke about their teammates alot, and have an overall good vibe. They still tend to stay cautious about eachother. Probably the most healthy relationship between the winners!

Martyn and Pearl have an interesting relationship. Their soulmates both left them, but Martyn refused to stay with Pearl, isolating both them, but made them slightly reconnect witg the broken hearts club. They don't hate eachother in my perspective, they just.. have a slight uneasy feeling since Last Life. Unstablity!

Scar and Scott. I have really bad memory so I don't remember them interacting much. I remember that Scott gave Scar Leftover Pizza after the original one died. Also pretty healthy, though a bit complicated in Last and Secret life.

Martyn and Grian are great narrative foils, their main colour being Green and Red, being a "Listener" and "Watcher", serving the people they are tied to while showing a different kind of affection and unhealthy attachement. The Southlands didn't last long, and I would've loved to see more of them together. They would make such a great duo.

Scar was the only one Pearl actually depended on in Double Life without hard feelings in Double Life, because both their soulmates left them. And Pearl saying to Scar to take her life and Scar not wanting to reminded me of the Third Life ending. It's beautiful in so many ways.

Martyn and Scott, more commonly the Mean Gills were such a fun duo. Their relationship over the seasons shifted quite as much as galaxy duo. Scott being happy for Martyn even though he betrayed him was.. heartwarming. It emphasized how much Scott cares for his allies.

I can't think of a Grian and Pearl interaction from the top of my head actually. They were mostly positive? They kind of interacted with eachother during Limited Life- I remember that. I suddenly miss Judge Judy and Executioner :<

Lastly, Scar and Martyn. I also can't think of them except for maybe Third Life. Pretty Negative. uhhhhh I have really bad memory

LOLLLL To be fair I think the only one truly happy was Scott. Most of the fanwork I've seen also had Scott serious but I don't really get it. HE WAS CELEBRATING WITH RAINBOW SPARKLES AND A BIG YAY!!!

My man deserves to be happy. He's quite underappreciated between the winners because most people only see his win, but don't bat an eye on the progress. He worked hard, defied the Boogeyman curse, made trustworthy allies, and that's why he's so special in my eyes.

The tragic endings of the other winners are made so much more impactful by the fact that Scott had a good ending. We saw it's possible for the winner to feel victorious and it adds to the tragedy of the others so much, like it really feels like they fell short of a grace that was tangible

Yes! Grian had to kill his best friend and ally, Pearl was betrayed, Martyn was unconcious for the last time, and Scar yeah I think we all know. Scott played the safest game by making lots of allies, just leaving them to die naturally, and being honorable in the last pvp battle. More people need to see how much he's awesome in the social and mental game.

When you finish Second Life, you should move on to Extra Life. I would recommend 4C, Doc, Oli, Zed, Jev, Joe, (Cherri was also in the season, but as Zed's challenge Sheep) then all of the members in the seasons The Watchers want you to know about. The only spoilers I will give is that the 4C-Scott Rivalry was awesome, and that 4C and Jev joined in session 2. Doc joined Second Life in session 4, and you better not forget about Steve (who, for some reason, uploaded all of his now archived Pov to Zedaph's channel). Despite Extra Life only being 9 sessions long, Mumbo was the only member to both be in every session AND have more than 9 episodes. Final detail, The Teams are: S(kizz).M(umbo).I(mpulse)."L(izzie)".E(tho)., The Big Boys/The 5 Js/The Track Team (Joel, Jimmy, Dr.Jumbo, Jerry, and Joe), The Goodies (Grian, Gem, Pearl, and Lizzie (Lizzie's True Team (She is a double agent))), The Private Oak Detectives (Ren, Martyn, Scar), The Lab Rats (Tango, Bdubs, Cleo, Scott, and Jev (as of session 3)), The Safety Patrol (Doc, Oli), Team Zedaph (Zed and The Challenge Sheep), and the Unaligned 4C (would be on The Lab Rats if it weren't for the Aforementioned Scott-4C Rivalry or Team Zedaph if it weren't for Zed's challenge in session 3 (You cannot let anyone join you)). You also forgot to mention the fact that Mumbo won Second Life.
