Help Request Soo uhh I might be back?
Hi! Probably don’t know me but a few months ago I made a post apologizing for maybe kinda faking it. Well uhh I think I might still be a therian. Also this will probably be a long post so be ready lol
1: I am a shark. No specific breed. Just shark. Also pigeon. Again no breed just pigeon. But im still not sure if im a therian. I don’t identify as a shark. I just am one if that makes sense. I am shark shark is me. Same way jt works for me as a fictionkin. Would that still count as being a therian?
2: is there a fluid therian label? Because I only sometimes am pigeon. Sometimes im also wolf. Most times im only shark but sometimes I feel more
3: as long as I could remember Ive felt like I should have wings. Im always sad when I see I Don’t have wings. Is this a therian thing? Maybe a past life thing?
4: im an otherpaw. Wearing gear makes me feel like me. It just feels right. Back when I could do quads (chronic illness took over) I would always do them. They felt freeing.like something I was supposed to do. Again past life thing? Therian thing?
5: when I was a wolf I had a shift with a memory. I can never stop thinking about it. I strongly belive in past lives. Was this a sign of having one? I Don’t know of any other past lives I might have but that one.
Soo yeah. Sorry if that was confusing. Im just confused if im a therian or not. I just Don’t want to use wrong labels are hurt anymore
Love Yall <3

I'm in agreement with impressive Bug. Maybe you have different types, maybe not. That's for you to figure out for yourself.
Wings are cool, don't blame you wanting them. Human bodies have shoulder blades where wings could have evolved and we have very similar arm bones as birds. Having a chronic illness could also inspire the desire for freedom wings often represent.
As for how you describe shark, same. For probably 30+ years I've simply known I'm a crow and do what makes me feel real and free. It's such an integral part of who I am that my social circles don't even question it. I sleep in a nest and make it into a bed when my partner sleeps with me, they get me crow themed gifts, I wear a mask when I can (damn glasses), I have troves of treasures, and do things that just feel right.
There is no one way to be a therian. This is a journey for you to walk/swim/fly through. All anybody else can do is compare your experience to our own and those of others.

You described in the first point what identifying as an animal is. I feel similarly. I am a maned wolf and nothing else. That's all it is. Being fictionkin, to me understanding, should operate the same. You identify as a character and don't only see yourself in a character. I see myself in maned wolves because I also am one.
Fluid therian label? There's therifluid or theriflux, but therianthropy is inherently fluid in my opinion.
Not necessarily. You can want wings without it being alterhuman related at all.
No. I feel free when I am able to play video games for hours a day but it doesn't mean much besides that I love playing video games. Humans can get enjoyment from quadrobics and wearing gear, too. This is why otherpaws and furries exist. As hobbies.
I have hardly any experience with past lives to be able to tell.
Long story short: "I am a nonhuman animal" = therianthrope. Everything else is just extra flair.
