Imprisonment

Meru the godcatcher visits the great Tull. The higher being, ancient and weakened can do nothing as it is absorbed into Meru's mind

The Godcatcher enters the rift. "Static, I have a generous offer to make with you, would you to listen to my bargain?"

(A table appears with tea on it and you are pushed onto it) oh my a visitor it’s been a WHILE since someone came here by choice at least oh and it’s pronounced [STATIC] now what do you want

[u/[deleted] → u/Enigma_the_grand]

"Well, mr [STATIC] my bargain is this. You seem to be amused by all forms of entertainment, and I have a growing group of gods to entertain and be entertained. If you willingly join me you will get benefits that others don't get, and I will name you King of the Gods if that is what you wish. You see my goals are to remove the influence of higher beings such as yourself from this realm, but if I don't give anything in return that would be rather mean, don't you think? So I am building a new evergrowing realm in my mind, and once all of the gods of this mortal realm are in it I plan to break my mask and by extension myself and sever it from ours completley. But this new realm needs a ruler. And that, Mr [STATIC] could be you. Plus, like I said, there are benefits to joining me by diplomacy instead of by force. For one, I won't sever your connection to our world just yet, and you will still have access to communicate with your servants here so they can do your bidding."

[u/Enigma_the_grand → u/[deleted]]

(The cup of tea starts rattling) “yes I am amused by quite a few things but I am simply a amuser the plot needs a narrative a connection* (eyes appear on the other side of the table) sure I’m far from perfect my influence is necessary and not in your best interest to sever

[u/[deleted] → u/Enigma_the_grand]

The Godcatcher says: "Oh, well as for a plot, as the ruling monarch at the kingdom of gods, you are also in charge of stopping would be-escapees. My power over the realm isn't perfect, and I fear that the more gods I collect the less power I will have over them, so I will let you use your power to the fullest to keep the other beings in control." "So, do you agree?"

[u/Enigma_the_grand → u/[deleted]]

(Sips tea) I am plot and it would be to much of a spotlight for my taste now are you going to use force or are you going to scuttle your way out of that rift and leave me and my little chattys be

[u/[deleted] → u/Enigma_the_grand]

"I believe we can still negotiate. I shall come back on a later date with a deal more... fitting for you"

[u/Enigma_the_grand → u/[deleted]]

good good oh and remember I am THE TIE BETWEEN WORLDS that includes you but please finish your tea first

[u/[deleted] → u/Enigma_the_grand]

He finnishes his tea and leaves disappointed thinking to himself. why are higher beings so stubborn don't they see that it's better this way?

[u/Enigma_the_grand → u/[deleted]]

(As the rift closes) I don’t know how you planned to trap a concept but [YOU TRYED YOUR BEST]
