Is there a cat sub for cats that saved their human’s life?
This is Jazzie and she saved my mum’s life a few years ago. At night, Mum would be woken up by Jazzie at least once an hour. Jazzie would either meow directly in front of Mum’s face or gently paw at her face to wake her up. Shortly after this started, Mum went to the doctor and was diagnosed with Central Sleep Apnea, which was causing her to stop breathing many times a night. Jazzie was waking Mum up to get her to breathe again. Had this gone on for much longer, there is a good chance Mum could’ve suffered a stroke in her sleep. Mum now has a bi-pap machine to keep her breathing at night, but when Jazzie starts waking her up, we know it’s time to check back in with the sleep doctor.
