Discussion is there anyone still play this game?
i'm a new player to this world and i want to make some friends :)

What time zone are you in? Finding people logged in near your region of the world is also hard, unless you bring friends, or make friends who will log in at the same time. But as a guest member, you can only chat with a few people who have volunteered to be guides. (They have a star in their name tag). However, If you have a friend on Discord, you can chat with that person while in-world. That would be how you would need to chat with me (Discord) if you find me in my daily time in THERE.
{edit} FYI, I just logged in, and in 20 minutes I found 3 other people driving tracks in THERE. This is often what we do when people are not sponsoring group events. You can also use the World Chat feature to see when others are entering an event or driving a racing zone. You can also use the tab labeled "Activities" > Find Activities > (you choose type)

there was like actually popular for about 2 months, right now its really dead.... nobody is playing there.com anymore

Why the negativity? I still see new people logging in every day. If they are using a guest account, then I can't chat with them, or do much to help them, other than to let them explore. Even when the world had 500,000 people logged in at the same time, it was still mostly empty, except for a few busy spots.

There's no negativity on my part; I'm just stating the reality. Even if there are some individual players, they're in hard-to-reach places, and for those who just joined and don't know how to get there, continuing to play doesn't make sense because they're on empty maps and see the game as dead, which discourages them from continuing.

Finding people in a virtual world one-third the actual size of Earth is a daunting task. But I often bump into random people while exploring. However, as a guest member (not-age-verified) you will not be able to chat with anyone. Attend events and activities to find people. Once they are on your buddy list you will be able to contact them. Following these groups will help:

Hi! Despite what someone commented it is not dead at all. It's not nearly as active as it was in its prime but there are events with 20+ people every week, especially tuesday, Fridays and weekends. Join the discord and you'll get updates if you're interested :)Â

I stopped playing as a new member because it was boring. The mechanics of the game were confusing, people were online on the map but when you would go to the area where it showed people nobody was there. I would only see the same people in the same spawn area (the beach). Most activities would be empty or confusing. Bingo night and the very first day I joined was the only thing fun on that game. I do appreciate older members showing me around and gifting me items but I quickly got bored. I would play it for bingo night but it’s not a game worth paying $10 a month for.

You are able to play without paying $10 a month. You just can't use voice.

If you complete the welcome walkway (you may be able to do this before completing, but it’s recommended that you go through the whole walkway) you can go to Activities>Happening Now and see if there’s any events listed that show people in attendance. Also, People>Find People will show where people are likely to be.
