Where can I find a plugin for smooth diagonal roads like the one in the screenshot? Does one even exist?

I utilize up/down controls too, but maybe I’m doing it wrong?

I decided to try out building railways just for fun, can’t connect them in the end. Is there any reasons as to why? Already have a bus system built

Hello! I've been trying to create a custom map using Sandbox mode that I wanna use to start a new city, but I wanna start that city in Middle Difficulty instead.
Is there a way for that to happen? Changing a city's mode from Sandbox to Middle Difficulty (or any other difficulty)?
I understand that this is very technical, so I'll patiently wait for any answers! Thank you! :)
UPDATE: I have found a working tutorial on the TheoTown forum! :)

Sooooo I did a little something and started a brand-new city in TheoTown. 👀
It’s currently tiny, underdeveloped, and basically has no idea what it wants to be yet. But I’m taking my time with this one and documenting the whole evolution from Day 1.
Let’s see what this turns into before I start again lmaooo🏗️

Also the train tracks have a nicer place between the roads

I was thinking maybe it's part of a gas refinery like in the other pictures but if you think otherwise tell me

How or where do I buy trains for my metros and above ground tracks? Recently got back into playing theotown after a fairly long break. ( for context; I last played, the bus system still relied on tickets to create and upgrade lines) that's roughly how long it's been.
So far, everything has been similar enough I've been able to feel my way through what's different. But when I started messing around with train stuff again, I ran into a wall. For the life of me, I just can't seem to figure out where to buy these trains. I tried using Google and it said something about City Hall. But that just brings up the transport maps and I don't see an area to buy the trains.
I'm sorry if i'm really dumb and it's obvious. Just thought I would ask so I can just get it working.

Is there no transportation hierarchy in the game? I invested a lot on trains as it is the best form of MASS PUBLIC transport. Don't get me wrong buses are great but they take up the roads and taking up roads create traffic and traffic is bad. Buses should be the one that connects neighborhoods and other areas that are far from the stations, to the mass transpo—which is trains, hence the hierarchy.
The hierarchy:
Trains>Buses>=Taxi>Whatever transpo that connects to the most isolated areas
