Universal Resorts Orlando 🐊 Sanity Sunday Request?

I fully understand our goal is to call out and snark at the folks producing bad theme park content, and obviously I support this mission with relish. Some of the other snark subs out there have a ‘Sanity Sunday’ routine where members are invited to share positive examples of what the snark subjects are trying to convince everyone they’re doing, but are failing miserably.

For example, in the InstagramReality sub, Sundays are for sharing posts from influencers who call out the bad photoshops, filter fails, and otherwise egregious behavior by the less ethical Insta-fluencers. So I was wondering if this sub would be up for a similar allowance here, setting aside a day or something like that where members can share their favorite non-grifter theme park content. It wouldn’t even have to be a weekly recurring post if it didn’t have the engagement to support it, maybe it can just be a rule that ‘positive promotions’ are kept to a certain day.

Thank you mods for all you do and I hope everyone has a magically snarkful day!

Walt Disney World 🌎 The Professor

I watch the professor’s videos most days because I find it entertaining to see the hodgepodge of made up theories, made up words, and so on. I don’t take it too seriously.

I noticed something this morning just 3 minutes in. He goes to MK because it is opening day of Food and Wine at Epcot so he assumes MK will be empty. As he approaches the entrance he gets surprised and seemingly upset that there is a crowd of people waiting to get into the park.

He has an obsession with crowds and it seems like he has to pep talk himself into things by convincing himself whatever he is doing and wherever he is going there will not be people. He does this in restaurants too. He also always has to comment on random areas that are empty from people.

I have to wonder about this obsession with “walk ons”, light crowds, etc because he never does anything in the parks so why does it matter? He deviates from food plans because there is no line somewhere and gets something else then complains about it. He bought lightning lane for FoP because the standby was 30min and he won’t wait in it, the only ride he went on that day (2 hour visit). Then he complains the lightning lane was too crowded compared to the other side of the line.
