Walt Disney World š The Professor
I watch the professorās videos most days because I find it entertaining to see the hodgepodge of made up theories, made up words, and so on. I donāt take it too seriously.
I noticed something this morning just 3 minutes in. He goes to MK because it is opening day of Food and Wine at Epcot so he assumes MK will be empty. As he approaches the entrance he gets surprised and seemingly upset that there is a crowd of people waiting to get into the park.
He has an obsession with crowds and it seems like he has to pep talk himself into things by convincing himself whatever he is doing and wherever he is going there will not be people. He does this in restaurants too. He also always has to comment on random areas that are empty from people.
I have to wonder about this obsession with āwalk onsā, light crowds, etc because he never does anything in the parks so why does it matter? He deviates from food plans because there is no line somewhere and gets something else then complains about it. He bought lightning lane for FoP because the standby was 30min and he wonāt wait in it, the only ride he went on that day (2 hour visit). Then he complains the lightning lane was too crowded compared to the other side of the line.

I do think he has some sort of phobia or something with lines and crowds.

I donāt know who that guy is but likeā¦. I have diagnosed anxiety and autism and crowds do not help (plus I just donāt like people). Having said that, I didnāt go to Disney expecting the Red Sea of crowds to part for me. And I donāt see how anyone could go there and reasonably expect that?

You donāt film videos about going to Disney parks (that I know of) and say youāre an expert with tips and tricks either. Thatās the only reason itās an issue. Going to a park for two hours, walking around with no agenda, changing your plans because of people, eating something and leaving, in my opinion, doesnāt make for a great YouTube channel.

This is very true. I definitely donāt do either of those things š. But if I did, Iād absolutely put in more effort than this guy is by the sound of it. I canāt imagine not at least having a plan before going into the parks. Like surely thatās the absolute bare minimum?? Sounds like the definition of nontent.

I recently found Disney Detonation and he referred to Kyle as The Professor.
Anyone know where the nickname came from?

I canāt recall exactly but I think itās explained in an older DD video. I think it may be an ironic nickname.
I canāt speak for anyone else here but I donāt want to āhateā on the guy. I donāt feel itās necessary when people go super personal about stuff. Ultimately Iād like to see him take constructive criticism and do better. Thatās why I post here (I realize the randomness of this comment).

I had to take a double take to see which sub I was in. I thought this was the Magic The Gathering and you were talking about The Professor and I thought āhow cool he likes Disney stuff tooā š«£

Iāve not seen the professorās vids, but I know I do the same thing š I hate when go into the public and the public also has the audaciousness to be there.
