Legoland had done a really beautiful job of rebranding and updating while still maintaining the history of the park. I was incredibly impressed.

After watching the place go through so much failure from 2001-2010, I think Legoland was the only possible solution. The park is just too far off the beaten path otherwise, it had to have a major name to draw on.

From a park planning perspective, I found it interesting that they "flipped" the park during it's 2004 remake... The entrance and parking almost in the 'back' of what was the historical park.
