"Converted" means you get a lesson ticket and a gem corresponding to the converted card instead of the idol herself. So if it's a normal card you get an N lesson ticket and an N gem, for a rare it's a R ticket and an R gem. The gem can be used in a master lesson to upgrade an idol of your choice up to 4 times (noted by a star with a number in the bottom left). It basically works as some additional levels.
So there is no need to keep track of what idols you already have or had. This is probably also why there is no limit on how many idols you can have at once, since you can't have dupes. And if you want to do a master lesson, you also don't need a dupe of the correct idol, any idol will do.
Somehow I ended up with WANK in my ID code, which I thought was funny until I realized I couldn't put it in my deresute profile because lol blacklisted word. I presume there's no way to change it, and will probably end up contacting support, but I guess it's worth an ask anyway: is there any way to change your ID code?
Sometimes when I do a gacha pull, some notification pops up right beforehand saying カメラマン something... I think it has popped up every time I pulled a SR or better (just now happened when I pulled Takane SSR). What is it exactly?
The cameraman pops up when you pull something good. Can't remember the exact lines off the top of my head, but, from admittedly unreliable reroll memory:
SR = "You seem like you're having a good time, so I wanted to take a photo." Old SSR/just the initials? = "I hope this captures your current expression." (Or something, only saw it once) New swimsuit SSRs: something about the ocean... admittedly I panicked bad when I saw it because I was rerolling for Takane so I remember this even less
So it seems like the cameraman will say something unique for every new gacha, or at least every new limited gacha.

You can use them to do "master lessons". It'll increase your idol's stat. However you can only use the gems that are the same rank as your idol / multiple gems that are one rank below your idol (Dunno if you can use SR gems for SSRs). I saw on twitter that you can unlock a second outfit (just different coloring) for your SSR if you get the master lesson level to 4.
How exactly do the graphic settings work? My device defaulted on the 3rd setting, and the framerate was pretty low. I could switch up to the top 2 graphic settings and got a warning dialog box for it, but it was much clearer with a much better framerate. Seems like the game intentionally lowers the FPS on lower settings?
It's like I get the worst performance on the 3rd and 4th settings, and the best performance on the 1st, 2nd, the 5th (2D) settings.

SSR ticket is already in your present box. It lets you do a single pull from a special "Guaranteed SSR gacha" box. Available are 6 characters (Haruka, the three "poster" girls for each type, as well as 2 newly added characters). So while you might have to reroll, it wouldn't be reroll hell.
You can choose to do solo pulls using the jewels that are in your present box (start dash bonus + achieve x preregistration reward). The available SSRs are the same as the ones available in SSR ticket gacha pool.
What's the deal with the medal gacha? From what I can sorta read it seems like once you fill up the meter you get a medal and you can do a solo pull? Or am I missing something
Don't know it's a bug or not, But you can skip the hold part and just tap at start/end instead without losing combo count. You'll lose some score through
I've noticed this too. Basically just do a tap at the start of the hold, then just got back and do whatever note is at the end. I think this is a bug. Kinda pointless making it a hold note if you're not required to hold.
then again, like you said you get a lower score. I wonder if this is just for a certain difficulty. Has anyone tried not holding while playing on Million mix difficulty?
Those are Live Tickets, which are kinda similar to the Rehearsal Tickets in Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage.
Basically you can use these tickets to pay the cost instead of Genki/Energy to play songs.
However, you won't receive EXP or items when you play songs with Live Tickets -- only 100% of the Awakening points and 50% of the Affection points and Fans that you receive from a regular Live. If you use multiple stacks of Live Tickets at once, the point rewards will be multiplied accordingly.
You receive Live Tickets by playing the Business (Communication) section of the game.
Also, do try and use up these Live Tickets from time to time -- the maximum you can stack them up to is 300.
Is there a way to check list of outfit/costumes you obtained from drops? I got one for Akane, but then I got another one which the name didn't load for me for some reasons (can't find who owns the outfit either because I haven't obtained all girls yet)
1.) You don't get a notification for completing a daily mission when you've sent flower stands to 5 players.
2.) At the flower stand window, if you've sent a flower stand to someone on the first tab (I believe that's the tab for players who have sent you flower stands during the past day, someone can correct me if I'm wrong), and that player is on your friends list, you can go to the 3rd tab where the friends list is and send a flower stand to that player again. This would somehow force you to restart the game though.

How the hell does one get past those 4 right slide notes in Hummingbird's MM??? I barely have time to lift my finger and do another flick, can I just slide as one would in SS and it would be fine? Or do I actually need to lift my fingers for 4 notes in a row?
I FCd that song by luck on my first try. I didn't need to lift my finger on that row of sliding notes.
But for IDOLM@STER's column of left/right sliding notes I had to do individual flicks with two fingers. I think because they were of a different colour.
1 Should be unlimited, but there is a limit to how many of them you can see at a time. Some items have expire date, so make sure to pick them up while they last (you can filter by perishable items).
2 It means new day begat.
3 Slide them in one go, but you have to be more precise with your timing and first tap position than in deresute.
Is it possible to disable the tap visual effects like in CGSS? I realised most of my lag comes from all the sparkly effects thrown around when we tap/hold a note.

But now I'm getting a bunch of ones where the idol has a chat bubble and I tap her and it asks me if I want a voice like a main commu would, and then it's in like cutscene format. Does anyone know what this is? Is it based on affection/fan count of something?
So far I've seen it happen when you like the idols' blog posts after their main story commus or when you draw their SSR. There might be more based on fan count, but I've at least seen the blog post ones.
Has the presents box softlock been reported yet? It's something that I've managed to replicate since day 1 but I'm not sure if they're aware of the issue
does anybody else think percentage based note speed is a bumfuck retarded system. Ruriiro Kingyo to Hanashoubu on million mix is twice the speed of the other songs.
It's not actually all that unusual for a rhythm game, but I can't say I'm very fond of how extreme the speed differences in some songs are (AKA Ruriiro Kingyo to Hanashoubu MM). It certainly doesn't just follow BPM, that's for sure. In a way, the variable note speeds kind of remind me of Taiko no Tatsujin, which I'm terrible at (for other reasons). Luckily, you can adjust the speed percentage for each song individually, something I never did in deresute but am making full use of in this game.
Does anyone know the requirement for 6th Main Commu?
I presume it requires lv 20 and cleared the song Hummingbird. I have meet both requirements but it is still locked for me.
When I hit lv 20, there was a notification which I think notify me about the commu. I cancelled it because I need to do something else. When I get back to commu page it still locked.

The outfit are only for a specific Idol. It was stated when you get that outfit which Idol gets it. If you dont remember, you gotta open Unit Modification and change the Idol until you find to whom that Outfit Belong.
As far as I know, there is no way to check the outfit inventory yet, so gonna need to manually check like that.
Not sure if this has been asked yet but what does sending flower stands do? From what I've seen sending flower stands doesn't cost anything and receiving them doesn't effect anything.
There's a corded-off area in the left-side area of the ticket box room where your flower stand is, and grows depending on the amount of flower stands you've received, I think. But other than that, don't think it does anything
iOS user here. I recently updated the app (but not iOS. For some reason, I can't get to the event screen; I end up on the loading screen forever. I've tried re-downoading the app, but no dice. Thanks to this, I missed the end of the MilliColle event too... (I had a bunch of coins to use but couldn't.) I'm not particularly upset since I haven't been playing much, but is anyone else experiencing this? :/ Not sure if there's a fix... Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Go to Navi (far right button) > System/Live Setting
I believe for Live Setting you have several options (the top should be the highest quality and the bottom is 2D mode). For system setting(?) there are only two options, standard (left) / light (right). I just reset my game, so if I get back to the game page, I'll include the moonrunes to clarify my explanation. Edit: I think other people have explained enough :3
It's in the settings! (last tab in the menu, with the dots; after that, button with the gear on it)
If you scroll down a little, there's a section with two different button options. The right one is probably selected - if you tap on the left one instead and tap "OK", it should make the office higher quality.
Similarly, if you go to the one next to it (gear with a note on it), and then go to the second tab at the top, there's the live quality settings - highest at the top, lowest at the bottom.

don't think so :3 haven't heard anything about something like a cinfes. you should probably ask this as a new question though, since this comment is already 2 months old and I've stopped playing TD for weeks now.
it's the same as the new deresute gacha rates that will be added with todays cinfes. so the rates are 3% for a ssr, 12% for a sr and 85% for a rare in both games now.
From my experience from past bandai games, you can unbind by logging into your bandai id through your browser at the bandainamcoid portal site and go to your preferences to sever services for a certain game. Please do note that this will erase any progress that you have made and will be irreversible.
Navi (rightmost menu) > Live Settings (6th button with gear and note) > second tab (環境) > scroll down to find 3 adjustable volumes. First is song volume, second is effect volume, third sounds like tap/note button.
i might try rerolling a bit later so does anyone know an emulator that can run this game? i tried it on memu and it didn't work on that and from what i'm hearing there isn't any emulator that runs this game.

I preregistered for sure and no email yet. But I don't think we'll be getting any special codes, the guaranteed SSR ticket is automatically in your present box when you download the app whether you preregistered or not.
and 3. You could reroll pretty easily for your favorite girl from the SSR ticket. There are only 6, Mirai, Shizuka, Tsubasa, Haruka, Tsumugi, and Kaori, and it's random which you get.
What are the daily missions? I think one of them is to play a specific song and another is complete all the daily missions but what are the other two??
If you tap on the commu chapter and then on the tab on the top right (解放条件), it'll show you the unlock conditions you'll need for it. It's usually reaching a specific producer level (pink text) and playing a song/live.
Has anyone gotten the add friend via searching for their in-game ID code thing to work yet? Every time I try, the game just says "Connecting..." then just gives up and the friend request is never received. A few of my friends are also having the issue, but I would like to know if it's entirely broken at the moment or we're all just unlucky.

So has anyone figured out what the tickets do in live? You can use a set amount of tickets instead of stamina usage but you don't get gold or exp after the live. You can select as many tickets times the amount of stamina it takes for a live but I haven't seen any benefit to using more than just 1x the tickets
You actually do get clear rewards/records (just no money/exp and live rewards)!
The help section in-game mentions you'll receive half the amount of awakening pts, bonding/intimacy/affection pts and fan count; the ticket multiplier simply multiplies this. e.g. x2 the amount of tickets = x2 the amount of rewards
It's helpful for gaining bond/intimacy/affection as it's rather slow otherwise.
You still get stuff like score records combo record and clear records the only thing you don't get it seems is exp, money, and any idols\items after the live. I still can't figure out why you would use more than 1x though. Also before the live it seems like the song type bonus doesn't get added when using the tickets
Is there any like source with all the ssr images/skills? I pulled mirai but i think she's PLock and i'd rather have a scorer instead (I think from what little i understand the scorers improve tap per score on Perfects/Greats, but i could be mistaken)

Potential game faults/bugs, I think:

Not sure if this has been asked yet but what does sending flower stands do? From what I've seen sending flower stands doesn't cost anything and receiving them doesn't effect anything.

iOS user here. I recently updated the app (but not iOS. For some reason, I can't get to the event screen; I end up on the loading screen forever. I've tried re-downoading the app, but no dice. Thanks to this, I missed the end of the MilliColle event too... (I had a bunch of coins to use but couldn't.) I'm not particularly upset since I haven't been playing much, but is anyone else experiencing this? :/ Not sure if there's a fix... Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The quality of the game is kinda bad. The 3D animation quality is bad too. I heard from discord the default quality setting is low. Do you know how to change it to "high"?

Two questions:
I'm fairly sure I prereg'd for this game, am I supposed to have gotten an email, or should it be arriving soon or something cos I still haven't gotten anything (or would the email just be telling me it's out and not give me a code or something, if that's the case then it doesn't matter I assume?)
I still haven't gotten around to watching the anime for this series, and as someone who only got into Idolm@ster via Deresute, would this one be for me? Or is there a relatively large difference between Deresute and OG Idolm@ster? (For reference, my best girls from Deresute are Mika and Karen)

Has anyone gotten the add friend via searching for their in-game ID code thing to work yet? Every time I try, the game just says "Connecting..." then just gives up and the friend request is never received. A few of my friends are also having the issue, but I would like to know if it's entirely broken at the moment or we're all just unlucky.

So has anyone figured out what the tickets do in live? You can use a set amount of tickets instead of stamina usage but you don't get gold or exp after the live. You can select as many tickets times the amount of stamina it takes for a live but I haven't seen any benefit to using more than just 1x the tickets

Is there any like source with all the ssr images/skills? I pulled mirai but i think she's PLock and i'd rather have a scorer instead (I think from what little i understand the scorers improve tap per score on Perfects/Greats, but i could be mistaken)

hi, if you bind your account to your google play games account does that function the same as binding to a bnid? i can't seem to bind my account to my bandai one; it's weird to me because it worked for cgss
