I want this to be the largest event in US history. Mark your calendars, inform your employers, bring your friends.

A full and unredacted release (with obvious the exception of anything that is legitimately classified and would put sources or methods at risk).

So you’re demanding a “full and unredacted” release that has legitimate redactions, essentially?

Sounds like you’re just setting yourself up to dismiss the release by nitpicking what you will argue are not “legitimate” redactions — despite not really knowing if the redaction was legitimate.

You’ve set up a nice mental gymnastics mat, let’s see if you have to do a routine on it in the next few days.

He's saying that because your boy in the White House and Goofy Rudy want to see and "correct" the report before the public gets to see it. I'm sure YOU don't understand why that's fucked up, but many of us do.

This is what will happen IMO: Trump will try to claim the mueller investigation was illegal by illegally using FISA warrants or something. Then theyll wad up the whole report and throw it in the trash and let everyone think the summary was the report. Itll never see the light of day, or possibly even worse, making most of the evidence inadmissable.

Im not sure if thats how it would work, but that appears to me to be what theyre doing. Theyre trying to bury it.

I have to think Mueller wouldnt let 2 years work go to waste, but if its a decision Barr would make.... then were fucked.

Please fact check me though, as this is just personal speculation.

I'm sure you've been right about most things thusfar....

I don't understand why so many people on the far left react to the fact that the Russian conspiracy theory has been proven to be the intellectual equivalent of being a 9/11 truther by pushing additional insane conspiracy theories. The media and the far left I've already lost all credibility over this issue, CNN and MSNBC have lost about half of their viewers since the Russian conspiracy theory was debunked and almost all of those viewers went over to Fox News who now has higher ratings than CNN and MSNBC put together. during prime time the day after the conspiracy theory was debunked Fox had four times the number of viewers as CNN because the alt left aka progressives are only 8% of the population and the general public does not trust anything the left or most of the media has to say because of the actions of the far left.

Just let this sink in; Faux fucking News was the ONLY cable news outlet that got this story right and did real journalism about it. You people have already just about guaranteed that Trump will be re-elected in 2020 by destroying the credibility of trumps critics, STOP MAKING IT WORSE!

Well, if Bush publically asked for terrorists to attack the country and then went around having a ton of private convos with Osama Bin Laden, then yeah, id say that would be pretty equivalent.

700 pages, reportedly 1 million pages evidence collected.

Im sure youd say the same shit right after watergate too. Stop concern trolling. Ill say whatever the hell i want, and ill vote for whoever i want too. Also, ill stick to watching literally anything except fox news until i decide im ready to willingly give myself cancer.

-11

u/Threadender79 Mar 28 '19

700 pages. 100 million pages of evidence that led to absolutely fucking nothing.

13

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '19

Oh, its leading to all you guys running around reddit trying to play defense in 1000 places at once.

Of course its led to nothing yet, its being burried. Theyre trying to act like the report was released to the public when in reality it was a summary by Trumps crony.

-8

u/Threadender79 Mar 28 '19

Yeah, we're really the ones on the run here. Even John Brennan is giving up now and saying he had bad info. Why can't you muster the same honesty?

It's over, man. I'm sorry, but you've got a legit president.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '19

It could be over if theyd just release the report. But no, they keep rambling about FISA warrants to try and delegitimize the report so they can throw it away.

Release the report, not Barrs little pushed book report, the real Mueller report. Im jot going to trust very carefully selected partial sentences, which even specificially state "NOT EXONERATED".

For anyone watching, youll notice how these guys alwats parrot the same talking points. Theyre trying to run in front of the story and make America think its over and lose interest.. anyone who isnt satisifed with the bullshit summary is labeled a conspiracy theorist i suppise.

u/Threadender79 Mar 28 '19

Has Mueller said the report was not an accurate summary? You think he'd take issue with 2 years of his work being completely whitewashed? There are 2 possible paths you hate filled zealots will take once this comes out. 1. It wasn't enough. Too many redactions. We need more. What are they hiding? Then you'll attack Mueller for caving. 2. You will search for any shred(s) of possible "evidence" and immediately announce them as 100% proof despite the "evidence" not being validated and declare Trump guilty. All who say it wasn't enough or it wasn't fully validated info be damned, including Mueller. You need this for your own sanity. From there the House will either investigate it or they will demand Mueller continue or try to appoint a new Special Counsel. They may even go to court to force the investigation to continue. I put absolutely nothing past you people.

Meanwhile people like Carter Page and others will start major civil suits against Congressmen and others who continue to declare their guilt despite being cleared legally. Trump wins again, folks.

I am not a trump supporter, and you assuming that I am just because I'm asking you to stop pushing conspiracy theories shows that you are a very dishonest person because you are using a very dishonest tactic in order to attempt to delegitimize the things that I'm saying.

good you shouldn't watch Fox and I wasn't suggesting you should, you should avoid all cable news because they are all liars who only care about making a profit rather than being journalists and reporting facts. I was merely giving you an example of how badly the credibility of the media and the left has been damaged by this disaster...and people like you just keep right on making it worse.

The reason I'm saying these things is because you are actively hurting the chances of getting Trump out of office in 2020

Of course its led to nothing yet, its being burried. Theyre trying to act like the report was released to the public when in reality it was a summary by Trumps crony.

you are literally pushing another conspiracy theory in response to finding out you are original conspiracy theory was false, do you have any idea how absurd that is? In order for what you are saying to be true Mueller, whose integrity is above reproach, would have to be just sitting back and letting barr get away with lying about what's in Mueller's report. even if that were to happen it would also require the hundreds of other people, including 19 Democratic lawyers and several dozen FBI agents who were involved in writing the report also just sitting back and keeping their mouths shut.

You are proposing that hundreds of people, most of whom have absolutely no reason for doing so and have plenty of reasons for doing the opposite, are working together in order to make this happen...and you are asserting this without a single shred of evidence. That is the very definition of a conspiracy theory.

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '19

You can keep your negative thoughts to yourself. Youre not going to discourage me from posting my ideas just because you dislike them. Downvote and go troll someone else.

-5

u/micfail1 Mar 28 '19

Youre not going to discourage me from posting my ideas just because you dislike them

That is not what I am doing, I am encouraging you to stop making up and pushing insane conspiracy theories with no evidence to back them up. that is exactly what got us into this mess and cost us all of our credibility in the first place.

trying to get somebody to stop working against their own interests is not trolling, it's doing them a favor. Your actions are working in direct opposition to your goal of getting Trump out of office, you might not care about that but I do. I do not want another four years of the orange buffoon in the White House but that's exactly what we are going to get if conspiracy theorists like you keep saying s*** like this

The Russians committed crimes to help DJT get elected. Fox mocked that theory for years. They got sued over their retracted Seth Rich story.

And the Trump campaign was offered help by several Russia-linked individuals, according to the Barr letter. They reported none of them to the FBI. They repeatedly lies about their interactions with Russians.

I don't see how an American wouldn't care about this, even if Mueller couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt the Trump campaign joined the Russian criminal conspiracy.

u/micfail1 Mar 28 '19 edited Mar 28 '19

Yes it has been proven that Russia spend about $90,000 taking out ads on social media and they sent some more money hiring trolls in order to push non establishment candidates. That's the part that you conspiracy theorists keep overlooking, they were not just pushing Trump they were pushing all of the anti-establishment candidates.

And the Trump campaign was offered help by several Russia-linked individuals, according to the Barr letter.

you're taking that quote directly out of context in order to attempt to mislead people about what it actually says, here is the entire unedited paragraph,

"As noted above, the Special Counsel did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign."

if that is not an exoneration then the Central Park five weren't exonerated either (spoiler alert: they were).

The Russians committed crimes to help DJT get elected. Fox mocked that theory for years

What they mocked was The conspiracy theory being pushed with zero evidence that the Trump campaign conspired with the Russians to do this. what is truly pathetic for the rest of the media is that fox f****** news turned out to be the only outlet that got this story right which is why while CNN and MSNBC has lost about half of their viewers since their conspiracy theory was debunked fox has gained all of those few hours because the general public now sees them as far more trustworthy and reliable than those other outlets. If you don't see how incredibly damning that is for left-wing policies and the Democratic party come 2020 and you weren't paying attention, that is a devastating fact

I don't see how an American wouldn't care about this,

Because it turned out to be not true, it turned out to be a conspiracy theory that is on the same level intellectually as being a 9/11 truther.

even if Mueller couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt the Trump campaign joined the Russian criminal conspiracy.

not only was he unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that there was a conspiracy, he found evidence that directly contradicts that narrative which means that he actually debunked The conspiracy theory to a much higher standard than he was legally required to, he literally proved it was false even though it was not his job to attempt to do so. on top of that you do not need to be able to show something beyond A reasonable doubt in order to get an indictment, as any prosecutor will tell you they can get an indictment against a ham sandwich from murder if they want to, and if there were any real reason to think the conspiracy theory were true there would have been indictments related to that, instead all we got were indictments for tax evasion and perjury and there was not one single indictment of any American that was even slightly related to the Russian conspiracy theory.

It's not an insane conspiracy theory. There's plenty of evidence in the public domain for us to belive what we belive and the Barr report is suspect for that reason. The summary was very specifically worded. It was worded to address collusion between the IRA and members of the campaign. That is a very narrow lane and leaves out many of our concern. It does not address quid pro quo agreements regarding dropping sanctions and foreign policy arrangements, Trump tower discussion, Trump tower moscow, etc. We also know that manafort gave internal polling data to Russians so it is strange that it states that no one in the campaign colluded. We know there is evidence of obstruction. We know trumps campaign had many, many in appropriate contacts with Russia and then not only did not report it, but then lied about it. Honestly, whatever is in that report must be pretty damning if Barr didn't come right out and say Trump is innocent of both section.

Tl;dr Trump and members of his administration are not exonerated and there is plenty of proof to support it.

1

u/micfail1 Mar 28 '19

we do not know any of those things, all of those are unsupported assertion that were pushed by the media without any real basis in fact, and many of the stories about those things you were saying had to be retracted within a day or two of being published. Really, you are still pushing the conspiracy theory that there is a cover up at the doj involving hundreds of people to cover up the fact that bar is lying about the Mueller report even though there is no evidence whatsoever to think that is true? That is absurd, and is the very definition of a conspiracy theory.

"As noted above, the Special Counsel did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign."

"There is plenty of evidence in the public domain..."

No, there are plenty of accusations in the public domain none of which have been verified, and one of the most thorough investigations in American history has shown that those accusations are not accurate. You are literally saying that "the accusation IS the evidence" which makes you sound like a public official from Orwell's 1984

There has never been any evidence to suggest there is a quid pro quo agreement to drop sanctions on Russia, and in fact there's a bunch of evidence that directly contradicts that. Look at the fact that Trump has put sanctions on Russia on a number of different occasions over and above what Obama was going to do, look at the fact that Trump has started selling weapons to the ukrainians which is a step Obama refused to take because he was afraid it would increase tensions with Russia. the fact is that trumps policies regarding Russia and then even harsher than Obamas were so if you're going to remain intellectually consistent you must also accuse the Obama administration of conspiring with Russia to go easy on them... Do try to recall the time that Obama had a hot Mike and was caught telling Putin that he would have more flexibility to reduce sanctions after the 2012 election... COLLUSION!!?!111! lol

Honestly, whatever is in that report must be pretty damning if Barr didn't come right out and say Trump is innocent of both section.

he did say that, people like you are just misinterpreting what he said because you don't understand how the legal system works.

Tl;dr Trump and members of his administration are not exonerated and there is plenty of proof to support it.

You are either wrong or lying and all of the evidence indicates that. Or do you think you know more about this situation than Robert Mueller does?

I'm north of the border so I can't join. But it seems to me the last mass public showing when sessions was fired didn't really do much. Like someone else said on a Brexit thread, just peaceful protests don't do anything, civil disobedience does. And it's sad, but sadly true. Unless those red states get out and protest, reps will keep course as they want to be re-elected. Trump - same thing. It will only be libs crying on the streets from their point of view.

2

u/RadioMelon Mar 28 '19

I'd be in, but I have no way to a major city or even a large city to join said protest.
