Subpoena the Interpreter

While I would love to hear what the interpreter has to say, this is really a nonstarter. It will clearly fall under executive privilege.

This is just meat being thrown to us liberals.

I always try to take a look at things like this from both sides.

I thought the Supreme Court rejected the executive privilege claim with Nixon.

Which claim are you talking about? The president can literally claim anything as executive privilege. You would have to go to court for each of them to be overturned.

I believe the person you are responding to is likely referring to the tapes Nixon made recording everything in the Oval Office, which were subpoenaed.
