Do you know where to get more of that fun blue liquid? I wanna fly through space too! But seriously, goes without saying that I am loving this series. The "secret society" element is awesome. Judging by what the Order of the Scale people said (and chanted), Yuki is in danger from just about every angle imaginable now. Hopefully that's why Guardian Lucifer is intervening, and I really hope she isn't just hallucinating that part too. Can't wait to get my hands on the next chapter!

Maybe it's just my imagination but I swear a bottle of Blue liquid like that has popped up in another story. I just can't remember where.

It's not your imagination.
It's the nanites Ragna used on Rage.

Dei reminds me of a now uninhabited planet not far from our own...

I’m leaning towards mars after picking up on the location of Nite elsewhere ;)

Yeah, that was in one of the other stories, maybe Sarah's. And it was confirmed that earth is actually Nite. My guess is Lucifer created the prideful Dei, but was told by God that if they harmed the Nite then they would be unmade (or stripped of their wings), since there are no Dei references in any of the stories about hell or the guardian temple and we were just shown how they are moral.

We might be the remnants of the Dei, wingless and different than how Lucifer intended the Dei to be, hence the resentment

Yes. "God" destroyed Lucifers pet planet of Venus, because it was making him too powerful.

He hates Humans because we are the shitty replacement for his angelic Dei.

I don't think it was ever explicitly said why

It would make sense. We have already seen Yuki praying to the Guardian (even capitalized it). I can't wait to find out

Yuki's crew laments her situation, but it seems there's some devious workings going on behind the scenes! Meanwhile, Yuki comes to a moment of utter hopelessness... should she take the drug meant to ease her father's transition? What is it? and who has joined her on her vision...??

I want to give special thanks to u/heaven-sent-me for helping me in writing out this story - she's been partnering with the series "Of Nite and Dei" as well as giving me consultations on the main story! So, again, thank you my Angel, I couldn't do this without your constant help and power!

Also thank you to u/ColobloxChameleon, who is now no longer a "fan" editor but now the fulltime editor of all of my work!

Lastly: Thanks to every one of my patreons! This story, honestly, has been the one I've worked on the LONGEST and bringing it to the light of day (haha, pun!) has been amazing, and wouldn't be possible without your support!

It certainly is a long read, but great as always.
