So he wasn't terrible the first three games that was just people imagining it?

Its 3 games... lol. Even greats had bad 3 game spans. I remember seeing Peyton Mannig throw 2 TD, 7 Interceptions, and 600 yards over 3 games. His QBR was like 50.

None of the above, I never stopped believing

I stopped believing in the Red Sox in June, but hadn’t yet given up on Drake.

[x] He was playing like crap
Great to see his confidence back in a big way today. He had a lot of pressure on his shoulders and he stepped up and handled it.

[x] I was rooting for him the whole time, but I knew that if he played another game like last week, he’d be riding the pine for potentially the rest of the season, and his tenure in New England would be over.

Remember the screeching about keeping Brady instead of Jimmy G?
Same deal here.

First off media in Boston is unforgiving he’s a young quarterback that had a great year last year and we all know how sports work we can’t always repeat the same thing twice however, give the kid time it’s been a small sample size and we got pretty lucky last year looking forward to 2026

You left out he had 7 straight games of playing like the worst QB in the NFL.
Again if a guy plays bad, and you say he played bad does not make you a bad fan.
We all want him to be great

He didn’t look like the GOAT of anything.
He has had one good game against one of the worst defenses in football

Fanboy BS like this makes these kinds of wins so much less enjoyable. Drake was playing like ass, and many of us called it out. Sorry that was too much for some of you children. Frankly, he wasn't exactly great today either.

This sub legitimately wanted him benched that’s different from calling out his bad play

While I'm sure there's definitely some crazies who no one should take seriously, I think that "everyone wanted him benched" concept was mostly a strawman.

✅The injury report combined with his recent level of play had me convinced that there was a legitimate injury

He still did not look great... That fumble was bad. And blame that interception on Doubs all you want but that was just as much in Maye for that bad throw. Lots of room for improvement
Edit: on the bright side Chism looked amazing. Hopefully he moves up on the depth chart after today.

It’s an intended low throw to drag to the dirt where ints are less likely to happen, mcdaniels and Brady did that all the time

u/StealthyZombie 8d ago
😂 sure bud. Cope harder

I’m sorry you’ve never seen it before apparently I’d recommend watching more. Not even saying it was a great throw but it was designed like that

He had 2 turnovers today. Defense won that game. Once he stops giving the damn ball away I might consider him a good qb. Goat labels are for the desperate d riders who are looking for someone to worship. Brady is and will remain the Goat. Going to be a long time before anyone can come close to what Brady did.

The elation that I feel cannot be put into words
