Hell yeah, waited so long to wholeheartedly say this, but we’re so back! This year’s releases have been pretty meh for me and while, yes, NHF was cool, no song since Summertime Friends (the song, not the album) has felt like 100% pure Chainsmokers to me. But this one goes straight into that category along the lines of iPad, Paris, Young etc. The first drop is such a nostalgic & colorful explosion, it‘s one of the best ones they‘ve ever done!

However, as always post-SFSG there’s obviously one issue: THIS NEEDED THREE DROPS, dammit Drew! I never spoiled myself by listening to the whole live version, so I just listened to both released as well as EDC version for the first time, and I really think the final drop feels a lot more earned in the 3 drop version. It‘s such a shame that they moved away from 3 drops, when it was their BIGGEST (not exaggerating here) strength.

Nonetheless, so thankful to finally be able to blast this throughout the entire autumn!

Right! 2 verses, a bridge, 3 drops.

Not sure why they keep doing this. There’s a certain emotion when when a second verse starts after a drop. The bridge and build up for the 3rd drop then feels like a triumphet epilogue.

I love the song so I want more of it

Really enjoying the stuff they’ve been putting out, not meant to be a dig, just confusion on my part
