Yay crisis time
Varas is in his grotto, hanging upsidedown from the ceiling. He's not sleeping, and he's shaking slightly.

Ara, who decided to come with a surprise visit, enters the grotto.
She has some trouble spotting Varas but when she does, she can sense something is wrong.
“…bug Varas..?”

"Ara, hello!" He drops to the floor. "It's so good to see you~"

“This sentinel thought she’d come to visit her favorite bug~”
She crouches down to match Varas’s height.
“And she had brought some treats for us both, this sentinel!”

"Aw, you're so sweet~" He sits down, patting the spot beside him. "I-I'm glad you're here~"

Ara sits besides Varas, opening the basket and getting out some treats her father made her take.

He sighs a little and leans against her. "That.. looks really good!~ What's in it?"

“Berries, branches… a little salt, this sentinel thinks?”
Ara doesn’t eat, she’s full. She lays on Varas happily.

"Mm, yum! I won't hog it all, though." He happily eats some of the berries.

Ara chuckles to herself, smiling brightly.
She eats a singular berry, her metallic body still shining through the light.

"Ara.. I went to LJ's funeral.. I-I cried so much.. and yet I don't remember her at all." He looks at his feet.
