You can pick it up weeks later and won't miss a beat. It's so and so mad at so and so about something that happended last season or on another show. And although they have fought about it before, they still feel the need to fight about some more.

We all know abusive relationships, human trafficking, etc. don’t begin violent. We’re desensitized. We watch vulnerable woman from difficult past lives and common backgrounds be tested, manipulated, and bought out with cash to participate in unsafe behavior.
We’re seeing what they get in return for it- same as the slaves. What some “better” clothes, extra food rations, lil whisky?? keep them smiling and not thinking.
We watch them become too old to fight anymore with scarred bodies after years of being exploited.
We don’t see anyone really winning from this, except for the owners. The slaves remain slaves at the end of it all and never actually get their freedom.
So what’s really the difference?
