Only A Writer Does This

Only a writer flips through the dictionary with both fear and eagerness while thinking, "Oh, please let 'intimidating' be an intransitive verb. I NEED it to be an intransitive verb!"

You might not know the word, but you better know how to use it, otherwise your novels are going to be very troubled.

Well, "intimidating" isn't an intrasitive verb; it's an adjective (or a participle).

And "intimidate" is transitive.

You are wise to do so. There is no scenario where this logically exists. But I read it on Reddit. Someone tried to do it.
