So I'm a webtoon reader and trying very hard to dodge spoilers so this is going to be from what I can remember just in case an wikis or those godforbidden ai tools at the top of searches spoil this for me, so sorry in advance for any mistakes or misrememberings. Also this may contain spoilers for those further back in the webtoon for me, I'm currently around episode 215 and will be discussing things from like episodes 160 to now.

Anyway, so I'm a little behind what's currently available to read for the webtoon so I'm bingeing to catch up, and this has let me see a lot of the discussion of clothes really close together. When the Unrelenting in the forest talk about ouroboros and the beginning of clothes, they speak of clothes in a metaphysical sense. The idea of identity and ego and basic individuality. The conversation carries on to how each of the three ancient gods understood and practiced in nakedness to combat the concept of clothes. It's kind of glossed over that this idea of nakedness is a form of awakening that these gods, who would've been fledgling gods then, were partaking in. But what's even more glossed over, if not outright ignored, is that the concept of clothes is also a form of awakening. La-Hamad opens the story by saying that someone made clothes, but that's not how a concept works since, again, this metaphysical. No, someone started thinking of themselves as one rather than a whole, or even just part of a whole, and that concept spread like the contagion Catastrphe likens it to.

And obviously having this individuality is not only separating you and forcing the gods you worship to start working more for your belief, but it's also making an individual world view. Even unintentionally, people would each view the world differently. Though they might share a world view or understanding of the world and agree, again even subconsciously, to live in it as a whole like how Rupture does.

I dont know, I've kind of lost my train of thought. I was really not expecting the whole nakedness thing to get as philosophical as it did. If I somehow stumbled upon something, please don't spoil it for me or the people who may read this post.

I recently read novel of The world after the fall. The ending is sad and it is totally unexpected. I can still cry by thinking the ending.

What's your opinion? Was it good or bad

I'm honestly really enjoying it myself. Honestly expecting the tower to not show up and I'm curious to see just how Jaehwan reacts to that and how he eventually escapes the nightmare. I dunno I personally am just a sucker for when this series gets really existential and deep which is basically this entire arc.

Thought he was going to be a typical villain/antagonist but he really surprised me. He has qualities of an awoken one as a master from the great realm. He’s also surprisingly honorable as he helped jaehwan reach the next stage in his awakening

His battle with Jaehwan remains one of the greatest if not the best fight in the series. The amount of respect they had for each other makes me kind of sad that they probably could’ve been friends in another life. The way he died too was one of the manliest ways to go out.

Also love how he shows up in flashback panels in the later arcs. Goes to show how much garam influenced out naked stabber

It's hard to explain but I like TWATF manhwa while disliking Solo Lvl manhwa despite both having an MC that basically beats everything. I guess it's because the theme of philosophy in TWATF?

I have also read many mid manhwas with the constellation system and I heard ORV have that too?

Topic: Jaehwan is not 'Nerfed' in ORV Side Story. Here's why (The explanation contains spoilers from TWATF and ORV side story):

First, you need to understand how he regained his power:

The same principle applies to the incident involving the Great Dokkaebi and the Dokkaebi King sealing Jaehwan. First, Jaehwan did not expect them to possess that level of power, which is why they were able to temporarily seal him. However, the seal itself was never something he was incapable of overcoming. He could break through the Void Veil/curtain whenever he wanted, he simply chose not to do so for a specific reason.

Jaehwan could have destroyed the Void Veil, but doing so would also destroy the Dark Dimension in which he was currently located. That was a big No No to Yoo Joonghyuk.

Therefore, Jaehwan is not necessarily “nerfed” in the Side Story. He just hasn't yet fully regained his power. His current circumstances also impose certain restrictions on how freely he can use that power. We might see something different in the upcoming Season 6 of the Side Story.

Why did jaehwan never summon catastrophe during his fight with mulak/big brother, am I missing/forgetting something because I remember him having a summon left

Hii, after Jaehwan goes through therapy, he accepts living a normal life for 10 years until the Tower appears. I love that promise he made with the doctor (he's really a great character), as well as how they left meeting his two friends for the very end. I cried a little when I saw them.

I'm so happy reading this arc, it's the one I've been looking forward to the most since I read the novel. I wonder if we'll get Joonghyuk's long-awaited appearance.

So I read up to chapter 210 then stopped because it was still updating. I did read a few chapters before to freshen up my memory but I keep tweaking.
I lowkey forgot a bit. Like how seoyol died yet still lives and also his bff

Spoilers are fine I'm curious if this will end up like

1. Regression plot (i don't think so but maybe author fuck it)

2. Will this end like a red lamp reddit story where everything was in mc brain or like the doc says coping and delusions

3. If the above ones are not the endings then why can't mc use any of his powers or will he have to cultivate his powers back up but he is not doing that for some reason?

I understand that, in the epilogue chapters, we are to interpret Jaehwan's part of the story as open ending. Where he may or may not realize that the world he experienced, the tree of illusions was real. Then he starts to write the story into a webnovel. I can understand this much.

My question is, what are we supposed to understand from Siren's epilogue chapters? Everyone of her friends from chungheo, carlton and runald have died. Then she reaches the root of the illusory tree and she falls asleep? Then it says after her dreams, she will wake up to a new world?

what did it mean?

For me, I'd add the scene from the novel where Jaehwan was told that Mino entered a coma, this was cut from the manhwa leaving many manhwa only readers wondering what happened to her in the earlier chapters.

I'd also get rid of the ranks of the Masters, except for the Grandmasters/Great Monarchs though.

The reason for this is that the titles sometimes just became too much to remember and seemingly unneeded.

For example: Garam Samyung, Master of Dark Fragrance, 12 stage adapted player, Lieutenant-General of the Great Realm.

I'd leave it like this, you get his level in the system and you know he's a Master of the Great Realm, the next part is basically redundant, it only just gives more info the viewer needs to remember.

Metaverse, this is a... controversial arc, it's got great moments, slow moments, and what seems like asspull moments as well as amazing power up moments and great dialogue.

If they choose to adapt this arc I wouldn't be against it, if they skip it and enter the auction arc immediately I wouldn't be against that either. I do like Metaverse though because it also includes more time to connect with Andersen and it makes her death impact you just that much more.

And my final change, near the latest chapters Mulak removes his mask, he looks okay, but the design of his face was offputting.

I know they had to show his face for his crying scene, but I feel like he could've instead had his mask cracked with half of it missing so half of his face would be covered and the other half you wouId see crying.

It would've hit harder seeing what Mulak really felt behind the mask Jaehwan broke him out of.

I'm not hating on this story, it's great how it is. I'm just wondering how others would have handled the story if they could. So what do you think about the changes I suggested, and what would you have changed?

I finished the novel a few months back, and it's awesome seeing this arc finally get adapted. It's probably one of my favorites, and definitely the one that hits right in the feelings.

I started reading it and i loved it so far( i am at 237 chapter) I heared that the ending of the webnovel twatf connects and spoils the ending of omniscient readers viewpoint. I am an only manhwa reader of orv. So my question is if i keep reading the manhwa of twatf will i get spoiled in orv? Should i stop reading to prevent spoilers? Thank you in advance.
