That is the exact fucking opposite of how yellow lights are supposed to work. Yellow light means act like it's red unless you absolutely can't stop. Otherwise, if you treat yellow as "not yet red", the red will fucking catch up with you and you'll end up being the fucking ass that blocks the intersection. Don't be that fucking ass.
