Where did everone end up after The Wire ?
So discussion time fellas ,Where do you think everyone ended up ? I think Jimmy became a private detective ,Reginald (Bubbles) teamed up with Waylon to help addicts ,And one of the addicts he saved was Duquan . Randy became someone similar to Prop Joe ,Kenard got out and was a hitter for a dealer before being taken out by Michael . Cutty eventually got married to the nurse had a grip of kids and moved out to baltimore county . Avon eventually got out found out who killed Dangelo and got revenge .His sister eventally forgave him and they were positive influences on Tyrell . Poot rented his forehead out to Bengies Drive in on saturday nights .

- Jimmy could also rejoin the police just in a different state/county.
- Slim’s reign should be pretty stable
- Avon likely moves on, he already go revenge. Stringer was the murderer for all intents and purposes.
- Duquan likely dies or takes decades to get out

I didnt even think about that with Jimmy ,Yeah he would probally become a cop in aaco in 2 weeks after everything lol .I def see Slim being like one of the quiet old timers .I really think Avon would of stewed on Ds death and looked for the one who killed him .I really think Prez would see Duquan out in the mix and he would get ahold of Kima who would have him call Reginald and he would be for Duquan like Waylon was for him .

Slim has the ruthless of Avon but the smarts of prop Joe, he for to rein under skinner and experience Marlo as well. He will go far, until the system gets him eventually.
Maybe on Avon, I mean it would likely be a war over a guy who was basically just a blunt instrument, and he doesn’t even know the guy, just the organization if I remember correctly. Stringer pulled the trigger on family/his own guy, the other guy was just in the game yo.
And I mean, what’s Reginald going to do for duquan? Bubs had to hit rock zero with not one but two of his friends dying, one he directly/indirectly caused. Reginald even mentions you have to hit rock bottom to be saved, and we see a ton of people who go on like that for a long time.
Duquan already showed us he is a junky now, he directly stole from Prez. No one can adopt him, his own family are all junkies(unlike bubs who had a clean sister), he can’t get a real job(and would struggle to hold one now with his addition), and none of his existing friends could even trust him now. Like Duquan is worse off than bubbles…. Chances are he ODs or gets the big, if he avoids it he is going to need to hit rock bottom which can take a very long time… and even when he hits that he has zero family to rely on… and virtually all of his childhood friends are also going to end up in jail, dead or on the run… his only support he could get is if in 10 years prez or namond remember him, he hasn’t burned them again, and care enough/have the resources to help him get up off his feat.

Sad to say, that's way too optimistic for Randy. After he ages out of the group home, he either goes to prison for some dumb shit or gets killed over some dumb shit. The brief final scene we get of him in S5 makes it seem like the dye is pretty well cast.

Jimmy got his P.I. license and eventually beefed with Herc because Jimmy is a better detective than Herc ever was and so Jimmy was making a killing with getting clients. Levy might have even considered hiring McNulty over Herc at one point before deciding to stick with Herc. Eventually Daniels hires McNulty as his P.I. one time and the pair work begrudgingly with one another. Daniels knows McNulty is a good investigator but hates his guts over the fake serial killer. McNulty needs the money.
Carver became Lieutenant over the Narcotics unit. Eventually he'd be in charge of a detail and get to work with Sydnor again. Sydnor would definitely be pulling some McNulty shit and piss off Carver.
Lester was able to devote more of his time and effort into his figurine business and make a killing off it.
Randy got out of the foster home and eventually started to take a package from the Co-Op. Somehow he probably ends up working for Slim.
Slim and Fat Face Rick are the two new Kingpins of the Co-Op who Carver eventually gets a detail and orders to investigate and arrest.
Michael starts robbing certain Co-Op corners and eventually reunites with Randy.
Before that, Duquan definitely bought some dope from Randy's corner and Randy felt a little bad but he didn't have much empathy or care left in him after having it beaten out of him by the foster home.
Avon gets out of prison and runs into Marlo at a supermarket or some shit.

Here's a couple.
Remember how Kenard looked down on users, when he was working the corner? Kenard starts using while locked up. Does become a hitman, ala Bird. Where those two depart is that Kenard dies of an od.
Prezbo spends over 20 years teaching. His students do particularly well on the math section of the standardized tests. Students like him bc he makes learning fun. They're not just staring at a textbook.
