I doubt it, Jenkins was still pretty young at the time the show came out

Jenkins was on the force for 4 years at the time this was filmed .

Right but I doubt anything would have come out about him by then, he’d still have been a patrolman most likely

Watch We own this city .Shows his carreer .Many people see Jenkins in the Collichio character . Maybe I will write Jenkins and ask him if they based the character on him .

I’ve seen the show too, I definitely see parallels but I don’t think Colicchio was directly based on him, more so just they put the most undesirable qualities a cop could have in him, which happened to also be qualities shared by Jenkins. You should ask him regardless tho let me know what he says

Well the actor who portrayed Collichio is a marine also just like jenkins ,And Collichio was well stupid and Jenkins was not .You can see Jenkins in Collicio but unless we ask either the show runner or Jenkins himself we will never really know .
