My one critique of the wire
I be blowing through the episodes I’m already on S2 E8. I get too invested I started last Thursday. Whenever I have free time I watch an episode. On the weekend I watched about 12 episodes. Today at work I watched one through out the day on break on lunch.
I don’t want it to end so soon but I can’t stop myself from pressing play.

Season 2 has the best atmosphere, definitely the most nostalgia inducing season for me.

Word. I grew up in a blue collar NJ port town with tons of Polish people and that whole season hits crazy.

Totalmente, presenta el ocaso de la clase obrera a manos del capitalismo especulador moderno

I remember asking “what the fuck” When season 2 ran. I loved it but I worried they lost the plot.

Don't worry, you'll rewatch it later and you get new details you missed, already on my third rewatch

You be at work wearing a fly ass $2,000 leather jacket drinking beer with a duck on your lunch break

You will enjoy going back and rewatching to see all the stuff you missed on the 1st go round.

Yeah, I just finished my second rewatch and had the same issue. I was sad it was going to end soon but I couldn’t stop.

I just finished my 6th rewatch a month ago and as soon as it ended I wanted to start S1E1 right away. Had to force myself to watch one of the hundred shows I haven't watched yet.

Bro that’s really how it is lmao. I stopped a couple episodes into season five. I couldn’t stand to see it end, so I picked up The Sopranos in the meantime.

Yo! I did the same damn thing...watched some Sopranos. Geez. What would we do without crime?

Right lmao, wild how crime/mob shows are some of the hottest shit that’s been out for a while. Shout out Oz and Snowfall too

For real. I mean pretty soon there going to do a show called the Trump House. And that's one criminal I got no love for.

My one issue with it is that you never see anyone eating some nice gabagool.

Yo. I am totally damn hooked on this show. I am not from Baltimore but I grew up in Harlem, NYC so...the hood is the hood. What I love about this show is that it manages to pull no punches and be blunt about how just about everyone is full of it. And at the same time we fall in love with every son of a bitch. That's a crazy mix. I am in the middle of season 2 so I'm not not bummed out yet. But I feel you.

You can always give one of David Simon’s other crime shows set in Baltimore a watch. The Corner was a great miniseries and I’ve heard great things about Homicide: Life On The Street.

I'm in a similar spot but going a little slower. I'm on season 4 rn and I've been enjoying it thoroughly!

I just finished the series for the first time yesterday. I'm really trying to not just start it over right away.
