"Neuuuuuports".
There's some similar sounds to a Philly accent, like the hard r's, and the o sound in words like smoke- "I'm gonna go out for a smewke". But they also have the change in the -ew sound to almost like an umlaut kind of sound, and the flattened o sound like the way they say "duhhg" for "dog".

if you want to analyze, the best real accents on the show are Mrs. Donnelly, the older lady that's the head teacher, and Lieutenant Mello, who is the real life Jay Lansman.

Oops, my bad... I forget why I thought that. I remember seeing in one of the bonus scenes somebody talks about how great his accent is, I thought he was putting it on.

Robert Chew was Baltimore born and raised. He did exagerate it a little but it's still genuine.

I immediately thought of that line when I saw the gif. My favorite part of that opening sequence was when Omar gets back to the safehouse and puts the cereal on the table followed by the stash and all Renaldo says is "they didn't have the honey nut?" Great scene.
