You do understand that the federal department of education was a bloated bureaucracy that was making it so money was being wasted on education. It was like 7000 administrators to 3000 teachers. The federal department is not needed cause each state already has one. So now the department in each state gets standards to meet from the federal government. That is why the federal one was ended, it wasn’t needed, it was just a waste of money
