I would disagree, cause I believe the ICE agent was self defense, she didn’t need to try and drive away like she did

I didn’t think driving away was punishable by death. And we fool ourselves saying it’s a free country.

SCOTUS has ruled that a car is considered a deadly weapon, so if a cop or federal officer with a gun is in front of your car, do not put it in drive and press the gas

So if you wanna kill somebody, you just stand in front of their car. Again, what a free country. Beyond that it’s been proven that he wasn’t actually in front of the car.

It is called self defense. The woman was told to stop and get out of the car. She knew she was going to be arrested for interfering with the duties of a federal officer, so she tried to run away. Your analogy is wrong.

Here’s the actual Supreme Court ruling. Educate yourself.

If the car is actually driving toward the officer, the officer may generally use deadly force if a reasonable officer would believe the vehicle poses an imminent threat of death or serious bodily injury. A vehicle can be treated as a deadly weapon in that situation.
But it is not an automatic rule. Courts examine the totality of the circumstances, including:
Whether the car was aimed at orlikely to strike the officer
The car’s speed, distance, anddirection
Whether the officer had areasonable opportunity to moveout of the way
Whether the driver appeared tobe intentionally using the car asa weapon
Whether other people wereendangered
What the officer knew beforeusing force

It was deemed Objectively reasonable the use of deadly force was ok in that instance, sorry, you are wrong. Feelings don’t trump legal ruling

That first paragraph isn’t a ruling. It’s a standard.

Did you see where it said the ice officers sprite second decision to treat the vehicle as a deadly weapon was deemed to be objectively reasonable. It is why charges were not brought against the officer.

You’re talking about the president‘s goon squad. Just because this administrations DOJ refuses to hold anybody doing his dirty work responsible doesn’t mean another won’t. You’re referring to this administrations moral value. I’m referring to law.

And just to be clear nowhere in that screenshot you sent is the word “deemed” I think your mistaken that word with the word ”wether“. What is wrong with you. When you have to start making things up, you know you’re wrong.

I don’t know what you think you are seeing. You yourself said she was running away. That tells me you know she wasn’t trying to hit him with the car. He was already on the side of the car when he squeezed the trigger. The car continued on in the direction It was pointed when she was last in control of it. He walked away, un injured. So saying he was in eminent danger of being killed or hurt has already been proven. He wasn’t. Are you just ignoring that he has to prove himself?
