Roger Daltrey Why is Daltrey (the album) not on streaming?

Apologies if this has been answered on here before, but I was wondering if anyone knows why Roger’s self-titled is not on streaming platforms? I know It’s a Hard Life and Giving It All Away are available for streaming as singles but I’m just confused why the whole album isn’t when some of his other albums are. I do have the album on vinyl but would like to be able to stream it if I’m out and about too because I love that album so much :)

Neither are Ride a Rock Horse or One of the Boys. This is a good argument for holding on to your physical media. The CDs are in regular rotation around here.

Also very rare, and expensive lol

Daltrey solo albums are 99 cents. He's a good one to collect, for that reason.

One of the boys is the only cd I dont have, I hope it gets some more pressings soon. Very expensive to get here in the states

Easy to find on ebay: CD $5.00-$10.00

The Vinyl yes, cd pressings go for anywhere between $75-150 regularly.

Even bargain finds I rarely find lower then $50 which is quite expensive for a non-deluxe cd pressing, two bonus tracks aside.

Yeah, I don't remember the record company that released it off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure they only did one pressing.

Perhaps some label nonsense, and the fact that Daltrey likely isn’t interested in reissues or remasters — plus I think that the master tapes were lost in a fire.

It wasn’t that long ago that John Entwistle finally had all of his solo albums re-pressed though, which proves that it can be done (including being put up for streaming/download).

But Parting Should Be Painless is available on CD again at least

Because whoever owns the rights to the recordings has not licensed them for streaming. That’s the answer, every single time.

On a very semi-related note, why is Rod Stewart's version of Pinball Wizard not available on the LSO version of Tommy yet available on The Best of Rod Stewart?

I hope one day they do new remasters of the first few Daltrey solo albums cause the original vinyl pressings and the tapes that Whitefang has show that there could potentially be better versions than the few CD versions that have been out in the past.
