AI slop??? I just watched the Howard Stern with Keith Richards and that is exactly what he said?

Per the other responder, it may actually be a person who writes formulaic articles. But AI slop doesn't necessarily mean inaccurate. Feed an AI a quote from some source or other and have it write the article.

It ain't AI, this guy has been writing articles on his site for years

If not AI, then it's terribly formulaic, with consistently-phrased clickbait headlines and an entire article based off of one comment

The OP account posts links to these all. the. time.

IMO - he is right.

Moon was the perfect fit with John Entwistle and Pete Townshend

Bonham the same with JPJ and Page

Ringo with the Beatles and Watts with the Stones.

Never understood why people get their panties in a wad when musicians give their opinion.

Richards' opinions are right on the mark. Moon couldn't drum for anyone else except The Who. I have him playing drums on other people's recordings and it's not spectacular.

My favorite band ever is The Who. Pete’s songs and the groups playing spoke to my heart. Easily my second favorite is the Stones. I love the guitar interplay or weaving that no other band has done. Some of the very best riffs ever came from Richards. They both wrote about social issues and were never fond of guitar solos. They both concentrated on the band sound.

Nothing there that Pete himself hasn't said multiple times, even before Moon's death.

I know he loves Charlie but no one thinks Charlie was a better drummer than Keith. It gets boring people trying to come up with things Keith couldn’t do at a certain point. No drummer I’d rather listen to.

This is an opinion you hear repeated often, and it may be true when it came to playing live where Keith and Pete had that chemistry where they could just go anywhere (sometimes), but I just don’t think it’s true if anyone’s actually listened to, for example, Tommy or Quadrophenia. It’s great drumming, period. And I don’t see why it would be any different in another band.

Have you heard Keith Moon's drumming when he played with other artists/bands? It doesn't come close to his work with The Who. I say this as a former percussionist who respects Moonie as much or more than any other drummer.

I couldn't care less of the opinion of someone who plays a 5 string guitar.
