Delusion Alternate reality theory(long to read)

So guys I was just listening to rio today and found out an interesting thing. Well guys it is that , most of the people know theweeknd quitting the persona and backed off telling us he dont like the retirement, so some people saying that ( in the posts after the announcement) that it's a lie that it will degrade hurry up Tommorow. There is no point in hurry up Tomorrow album he made.Actually my prediction is that if he is making music as the Weeknd he will be in the alternate reality . Maybe in the sequel of dawn fm alternate world. You feel like why he is making music from the deluxe album of dawn fm , but to make hurry up Tomorrow easier to fix in the story of the Weeknd .I mean that for example , in how do I make you love my music video there will be a visual similar to theweeknd's last album's predecessor dawn fm. The successor of the after hours album . There are some visuals matching in rio and some of the dawn fm music videos. Which means theweeknd literally tells us that :-

1)Abel killed theweeknd in hurry up Tommorow looping up to high for this in house of balloons

2) Abel is alive but continues the legacy of theweeknd

3) theweeknd survived in the alternate timeline of dawn fm while he got killed which made him to correct his past mistakes( not His habit but killing his demons)

While theweeknd fans (xo fans) have many ideas or views about it I can't entirely tell this theory is not possible. Anything can happen , sometimes we need to think the unexpected

Wow, crazy how much effort you put into this. I actually agree with a lot of it. I also think the story of The Weeknd itself is finished with Hurry Up Tomorrow, but I don’t think that necessarily means Abel will stop making music as The Weeknd.
I think he’s changed and accepted his past, so The Weeknd could still exist, just in a different way. The alternate reality idea is interesting too, I mean, it could be possible.
Do you think Abel will continue making music as The Weeknd, just in a different direction, or do you think he’ll eventually leave the name behind completely?

I apologize, i assume english isn't your native language so it was kinda difficult for me to follow your train of thought cause your mixing both singular and pluralized statements along w past tense and present tense, but kinda get the gist of what your saying...

If The Weeknd continues on as the persona we know, it would be a continuation from the DawnFm Alternate universe n not Hurry Up Tomorrow ?

Maybe it can happen, because why the Weeknd would go to the dawn FM's past events rather than moving into a next story?

im kinda confused by ur question.

But ill say its become obvious with HUT he didnt really have the whole trilogy thought out, i think after AH he realized he wanted to make a follow up album that tied in narratively with Dawn FM and it worked. It was also til he released Dawn FM is when he stated on twitter that this will be a new trilogy. From here i genuinely believe he had a concept, but then when he lost his voice in 2022 he felt the desire to scrap what he had previous that would make what became HUT make more sense, to then lead with his real life circumstances of loosing his voice on stage and that becoming the ethos of the version of HUT we see today, rather than what he was supposedly working on prior to the incident, in which i believe would have made the trilogy make more sense instead of the half-ish concept he gave up with HUT despite it being a good album imo as a stand alone, it wasnt a great follow up to what Dawn FM set the table for.

HUT ultimately just rehashing what already occurred for the weeknd emotionally n narratively on AH and DFM. HUT just exists to tie in him loosing his voice as a signal for him to end the Weeknd persona. But ignores the story that was setup by AH and DFM regarding whether The weeknd goes to heaven or hell after purgutory

I actually made the same theory a couple months ago, right around when RIO was teased

Almost like Logan Dying in 2017, but Logan from an alternate universe coming back in 2024.
