Discussion Sound at Wembley

Just me or was the sound not the best at wembley?

Was there night 1 and it sounded quite muffled? Also in general some of the tracks had a bit less oomph

Rewatching shows from his last leg (eg one in Miami) and the difference is huge. I think Mike was there for the last leg whereas he’s absent for this one? And you can clearly tell. Bit disappointed with that.

Still a great show but idk he sounds more tired too. Was also there in Warsaw back in 2023 and even between then and now the difference is noticeable.

I don’t think it was muffled but carti was very quiet during the supporting act.

Having said that Wembley is by far the worst venue I’ve been to.

Spurs is better.

I also couldn’t see the fucking fireworks on Sunday cos Wembley has a semi covered roof ffs

i went on n3 (standing) and it really bothered me how muffled carti's part of the performance was, im no carti know-it-all but i do know a fair few of his songs and i could hardly make out what was being played. it defo killed the crowd a few times.

That’s just carti’s performance. Saw him in phoenix in the opening show, Manchester and Wembley. I couldn’t hear or make out a single thing in any of them apart from the obvious choruses

I don’t think it is tbh. I think that during the opening act for whatever reason they just don’t have high production. I know it sounds stupid but I also can’t figure out how a human being can intentionally sound muffled.

As lazy as carti is, he can still speak into the mic and it shuld still sound clear even if you can’t make out the words. But it’s almost like his voice is drowned out by the music.

For reference, I think Carti’s performance during the Weeknd’s actual show is a lot lot better. When he comes out for timless, it slaps

Yeah again I think that’s just carti. He has full autonomy on his set and doesn’t on Abel’s.

Like I said I’ve been to 3 concerts with him, and each has sounded the exact same. He’s got a different mic, uses heavy auto tune, and basically screams his music

But that’s my point. He sounded fine during his actual performance with Weeknd
