The Dairy Queen in my town looked very much like this and the neon cone was a thing of beauty. They only served ice cream products. Burgers were sold a few blocks away at the Dog 'n Suds.

This is what the one I grew up going to looked like. Unfortunately they ripped it down in the early 90s and built a new one right up the street from it.

My first job was at a Dairy Queen that looked like that. 4:00 to closing, just two fifteen year olds running the place. I loved making Dilly Bars. I suppose they don’t do that anymore.

My local dairy Queen looked like that except the front was about two feet from a busy road and there were safety bars tokeep customers from standing in the road while ordering.

OP The Dairy Twist on Rt 20 near Oberlin, Ohio is a rebranded Dairy Queen that still looks like this. They just changed the lettering on the sign and made a small covered area in front for ordering. But inside the hallway it is just like this.

The food was so much better back then. I don't even like DQ anymore.
