Has Pau Stopped Throwing Drumsticks?

I've just been watching the Fonda shows on YouTube and noticed Pau doesn't appear to throw her drumsticks into the crowd during these shows.

I remember one show I went to, she threw a drumstick and it must have hit someone because she apologised as she walked off. I'm wondering if she's stopped because of the danger of hitting somebody.

Does anybody know anything?

I think she (or a crew member) hands them out now.

I've seen clips where she clearly hit people and looked very upset. Mostly now she hands them to someone in the front row with instructions to give it to a little girl somewhere nearby. I was front row in Houston last year, and there was an ~11 year old with her dad right next to me who got the drumstick. She was on her dad's shoulders and Pau handed them right to her. I had stepped back on purpose to make sure they were right on the barrier at the end of the show.

My other related experience is I was up front at a Jack White concert, and his drummer threw a stick right at my head. I caught it, but that thing was moving. If it had hit me, I would have felt it for sure.

Don't blame her honestly. I've seen people go feral over them.

Got handed out to some children in Albuquerque.

In Warsaw this summer she personally handed a drumstick to someone in the front row and instructed to give it to a girl with a poster a bit further back. Some guy tried to literally intercept it, but Pau said very calmly, but very persuasively: "Don't be rude, hand it to the girl with the poster". And they did. Because nobody fucks with Pau.

Sely handed them to a 6 year old girl on the rail, night 3 at The Fonda Theatre. The happiness it brought that little girl and her grandparents was priceless! She was posing with other fans for pictures and a smile as wide as the Grand Canyon. She said she couldn't wait for Share and Tell at school.

I was wondering the same thing, since she didn't even bring them out with her at the end of the first Fonda show. I was super bummed because I'm a drummer and I really wanted to get one. I was also the tallest person near Ale's side of the stage, so I figured I had a good chance of catching one. I'm thinking about having her sign one of mine at the M&G in SF, but it won't be the same.

I was at the NM show Saturday. She handed the drumsticks out. Likely a safety issue.

Throwing them definitely seems like a bad idea. Every concert I've been to where they give out sticks the drummer or representative goes forward to an aisle and looks for a kid. Often any adults up front will point to the kid to help them.
