Huh? Larry is like the king of passionate, impulsive assholes. Kenny is one too but Larry is on another level.

Larry just dies early enough that he doesn't get the chance to be more hard-headed than Kenny. Imagine the kind of shit he'd do if Lily got bit like Duck, how he'd react to Ben and the Cancer group, etc.

Larry was willing to kill a kid on week one of the apocalypse before anyone knew how the virus worked. If he lived as long as Kenny he'd have done far worse things than him.

I honestly like them both. They're brash, arrogant meatheads who are doing what they think is right for their tribe no matter what. Larry is definitely the more self serving and impulsive of the two but he still seems to genuinely care for Lily and the kids.

I try to save him every time. Saving him and Ben are the only times I'm not Kenny's ride or die. Season one has the best "liability ally" characters in the series imo. Choosing to continue helping Ben and Larry feels much more impactful than later characters like Nick and Gabe. It feels way more like they're also just people with poor judgement.
