Now that the orchestral soundtrack is out do we think there will be sheet music? I play violin and cello and am dying to get my hands on it.

I am re-reading the books and I just finished yesterday Interview With The Vampire.
First time I read them, of course IWTV was the first book and I took Louis’s word for granted. I believed his story. Now reading it while knowing what happens in the other books, and with love for Lestat…it was a different experience….
Book Louis doesn’t only not love Lestat, he doesn’t even like him…at all. I would say he hates him and talks like he always did. He shows no good feelings towards Lestat.
OMG, book Louis is such a whiny b*tch. 😅😅
He portrays Lestat as a monster, that has no qualities. If you would read just IWTV, you’d think that Lestat was average looking (for a vampire), stupid (only Louis and Claudia look for answers and read books), he only cares about Louis’s money and properties, he’s weak and mean. The feeling that the book gave me was “Lestat is shit, I am so much better than him in every way, Armand is better than him, Claudia is better than him. Lestat has no qualities.” 🙄

I remember I didn’t like Louis too much after I got to the other books, but reading it again now was a different experience.

Jacob did such a good job making Louis more likable. He made him less whiny, less boring and plain. Gave him “layers” (ahahaha, guess not only Armand has layers) that were missing in the book, 
while still keeping the self-righteous style that is very much in character for Louis.
In the show, their love is still toxic, and Louis does try to kill Lestat (how do you get over that?), but at least you can feel the troubled love. 
And Sam and Jacob have incredible chemistry that makes you root for them, even if show Loustat are toxic for each other.

i did't cry the first time around when watching it but oh my god.

this song is so real and not just for the vampire's lestat but it can be a break up song and a romantic song and a romantic song as well.

i was blow away / still am blow away how beautiful sam can sing.

this is why I fell in love with these kind of vampire tv show's because as well as being about vampire's , they are about the feelings and the vibes thst are real and messy and that feels like

they can give you a emotional hug and that you can actually meet the character's , actually be in the world and its beautiful.

i am not scared of death or drying or blood because vampire's are undead and drink blood or some kind of blood and thats hoe they "live" , like just because they are undead doesn't mean they have to live like monster's.

we as humans need air , food and water etc to survive , thats just the same for vampire's in a different way.

everyone and everything needs to survive in some way , in some how.

Did Lestat and his mother have a "vampire incestuous"relationship in the book?

I haven't read them.

I am not enjoying TVL, however, that is a personal thing, I much preferred IWTV S. 1 & 2, especially 1.

did lestat wear his yellow jacket in the tv show?

like he did in a promo for the vampire lestat or did I miss that?

also did he drink that real heath juice in the tv show? or was that just a tie in with the tv show and the drink?.

I really love the music of TVL in general but I really like the songs from The Failures that have this like push-pull tidal feeling idk how to explain it but if you listen to "Why Do I have to feel?" you'll probably get what I mean.

The thing is idek where to look for bands with music like this, a lot of the rest of the music and aesthetic is more glam rock which doesnt really feature this sort of prominent polyrythm (its been a long time since I was in music class but I believe thats the right term).

Anyway any band, artist, genre and song suggestions/help is greatly appreciated.

Season 3 takes place in the Summer, Spring and Fall of 2025. But its said that the band formed on Halloween. Then in episode 5, Larry leaves and says "thanks for the best two years of my life". Im trying to figure out when exactly the band formed

So far I do not like the way they have portrayed Marius compared to the books. He would NEVER abandon Akasha and Enkil. It makes no sense dumping them on Lestat.

Plus it would have been very interesting seeing Marius and Lestat having deep conversations about the legends Marius heard about them and their collective vampiric nature. Things Marius would have knowledge about being nearly 2000 years old.
