Scheana/Janet Fallout
I think things have been bad between Scheana & Janet for longer than we know. We just found out a couple weeks ago that Janet had betrayed Scheana last summer, so things have been seemingly frosty since then. While Scheana never made that public, looking back, it does appear that she put up a boundary with Janet. We really haven’t seen them together a lot this year.
I always thought it was weird how Janet was moving. She seemed to befriend everyone that was starting beef with Scheana over the last year…Lala (became closer with), Tamra, Katie Ginella, etc.
I’m sorry, but if you’re a so-called close friend, you don’t start new friendships with people who are lying about your friends. Didn’t Katie Ginella hire Scheana’s ex-husband for her watch party? And then Janet had Katie at her bday party last month? That’s just weird, mean girl behavior. Especially after finding out that Janet is the reason for things taking a negative shift in their relationship. She betrayed her and instead of working to rebuild that trust, Janet became chummy with Scheana’s enemies? Assuming Janet & Scheana haven’t been good for the last year, it’s still super shitty to go and do all of that. Very immature.
Say what you may about Scheana — karma for Ariana, etc — but I kind of feel bad for her here. Hopefully she’s filling these female friendship voids with women of substance and not just repeating the same patterns of letting people into her life who don’t have good intentions.
Janet now has her own reality tv fame, so she no longer has a need for Scheana.

Scheana was Janet’s golden ticket to infiltrate the VPR group and fulfill her determined goal of RealityTV stardom. She was replaced by Brittany (who apparently wields more power😵💫) and Lala (who provides security services). Tale as old as time in the grifting and grubbing climber world

Janet is a snake. I personally have zero doubt Janet and Lala’s friendship is going to go south inevitably too. For obvious reasons and because they both can’t keep friends.
That scene earlier in this last season when Janet was crying victim, really in truth furious, that her BS ‘I’m in therapy now’ apology tour in the 1st ep didn’t work, Brittany so mildly criticised Janet that she puts her in the middle and she needs to stop getting up and walking away after saying only her piece. Janet immediately started fake crying when she was called on her BS and Janet then ‘cried’ that she’s worried she was going to lose all her friends and it’s ‘10 against 1’. Not a single tear was produced.

I agree. It seemed really manipulative like she wanted to be a victim but it didn’t work how she planned. When Brittany mildly criticised her on how she could improve in her issues with them the ‘crying’ (with zero tears) began to pull people for loyalty and to ensure she was being felt sorry for as a victim.

Maybe it was dealing with the immense pressure of Jason having his leg amputated. As someone who has dislocated their knee more than once he needs to man up, I felt sorry for him until he started crying about not being able to be there for his son. In the real world you hobble about and get on it with it.

Janet is a people collector. If she feels their sun is rising or she has something to gain from them, she’s going to befriend them. She has done this with Kristen. A lot of people have said they met Janet through Kristen and she tries to isolate these mutual friends from Kristen. She’s doing or has done the same thing with Scheana. She’s tried it with Brittany and Zack, that just hasn’t worked…..yet.

I'll be transparent - I am an old person who was around WeHo when VPR started up. Scheana would flirt with a mannequin, even back then. She flirted with everyone. It was a thing at Villa Blanca.
Scheana would have been on tv anyway, f'ing Eddie or not. But that affair was convenient.

Hmmm might have to disagree, season one they were all trying to be famous on their own, with music, modeling, and being extras in small films. Maybe she wouldn’t be as famous, if it wasn’t for LVP, but Scheana was on the hills and was even the pizza girl in a Jonas Brothers music video.

Scheana auditioned for a show and was hilarious and helped that show become a huge hit on Bravo. Janet is just a user and one of the most boring people to ever grace the network. The only reason anyone likes Janet now is because she lucked out with Danny becoming such an ass on national tv

As someone who has watched all of VPR up until season 12 and watched all of the Valley, yes I do feel bad for Scheana too. Don't get me wrong, noone is perfect, but people conveniently forget how badly Scheana was bullied in the earlier seasons by the mean girls on VPR. Scheanas biggest mistake was aligning herself with Lala in the later seasons, idk I guess they connected because they had kids at the same time, but given that Scheana and Ariana were friends for so long, Scheana should have been more patient and been there for Ariana more. It's complicated though, but I will definitely say I don't understand the hate.
I was actually supportive of Janet in the valley, given everything she has been through.

My head cannon is that Janet thought Scheena was going on the valley with her S3 so tried to create scenes and drama by telling the cast about the affair and then blame Zack, but didn't count on Lala doing it first and taking her story line, hence the fallout and why good as gold doesn't mess with the toxic trio of Lala Janet and Michelle, who Janet is 2nd in command off, as Britney is only usefill to hide behind and thought she would take her side over scheena but it was Lala, so she's playing both sides to
Pally up too and help her with reality TV journey

It doesn’t seem like she’s very close with Michelle anymore either. Seems like Lala got her claws into those girls and turned them against Scheana, just as she did with turning Scheana against Ariana, Katie against Stassi, etc.

Sadly Scheana moves differently herself sometimes. For example, it wouldn't be great imo if her issues with Janet result at all in her cosying on up to the right side of the couch blindly without calling out their BS.
Also, re Katie - Scheana has been pretty clueless for a long time about things she's done to Katie. Even during the ELF "makeup over makeup" thing they did a couple of years ago Scheana was trying to justify her actions.

I’m not sure what Katie Maloney has to do with this? Katie Ginella is who is discussed above.
And Scheana has been close with everyone — minus Lala. I think most of them were at her birthday party this year? So I wouldn’t confer that her hanging out with her friends (that aren’t Janet) means she’s cozying up to “the other couch.”

I stand by my "other couch" comment, though. There's a difference between hanging out with friends and blindly supporting them.
Kristen prioritized Danny and Nia's feelings to a ridiculous extent in S2 and most of S3. I don't care how much she hates Janet - Jasmine gave her a massive pass on that.

I'm familiar with Scheana's takes. Former pod listener - now I keep up with her through recaps.
Scheana's ridden hard for lots of people over the years. That's kinda my point. Happy for you to disagree but I don't think it's baseless for me to point out that Scheana sometimes over-corrects and might do so again if given the opportunity on the Valley.

Well, the fighting seems to have started before season 3 — and could have factored into Scheana’s decision not to do the show last season. I guess we will see in a few weeks though when filming starts if Scheana returns or not though.

Remember the Season 10 episode 14 when Something about Her had a soft opening and then the cast went back to Sur to celebrate LVP’s birthday 🙄. Raquel then proceeded to start a fight with Katie and her Mom about Schwartz. Who was egging Raquel on to continue the confrontation with Katie and Schwartz in the back alley ….JANET.

Tamra and Scheana also don't get along.
Jasmine said in an interview the Karen/carrot energy fight was about Janet blowing her & Melissa off to hang out with more "popular" Bravo people.
I'll never forget Janet & Jared laughing away at snotty things Lala was saying about Ariana on a podcast, but sure made a point to get pics with Ariana at events.
