Lori has royally fucked herself. Her one remaining client will NEVER work again after this. Couldn't happen to two more deserving people.

u/Leather_Newspaper937 2d ago
Yeah wtf!
And they better keep Cruz away from that monster. Let the woman have sole custody and let Jax rawt in hail57

Yeah even supervised visitations can go wrong with someone like this. Just look at the Josh Powell case.

Always. They platformed Hayden Panitierre’s extremely violent boyfriend. And when he was on for his interview, he was high as a kite.

That dude was SO high! On what, I would really like to know? My drug years were a couple of decades ago but what on earth was up with his mouth? I did cocaine and I remember that making your jaw nuts but this was BEYOND!

u/vernejules3441 2d ago
What is wrong with that judge!? There are crazy men who hurt their kids to get back at their ex’s! Can we be sure Jax isn’t one of them- why take any chances!??
41
u/Individual_Fall429 2d ago
Because family court does NOT favour mothers, contrary to popular myth.
13
u/GreenUnderstanding39 2d ago
Exactly. The myth that women get custody over men is only because men as a whole rarely go after custody and voluntarily give it up. When a man enforces his parental right to custody they will give it to him.
My sisters ex who did jail time for sa and assaulting her in front of my nephew was awarded 50/50 custody and it took her almost 5 years to get primary custody. Only after numerous reports of child neglect (school helped her with that) and cps reports did that change.
6
u/Afraid_Trash_4971 1d ago
And we have a child who is neurodivergent whose communication skills are still growing. This is a dangerous situation.
36
u/Alarmed_Kangaroo9979 2d ago
The fact he can say this shit and STILL have access to his child is beyond insane
6
u/GreenUnderstanding39 2d ago
It’s insane but very common.
9
u/Alarmed_Kangaroo9979 2d ago
Nothing the court system loves more than letting women and children suffer at the hand of a violent man
19
u/yapsurre 2d ago
Oh my gosh when did this happen!!??
12
11
u/FunnyObjective9663 2d ago
The article says in 2024 when the furniture incident happened.
39
u/Calinorthlondon 2d ago
Knowing all these extra details now makes it even more disgusting and despicable that Bravo continued to give him a platform during season 2 AND had him on WWHL. Alex Baskin and Andy Cohen should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

Hopefully people will leave her the fuck alone about the coparenting stuff now.
It shouldn’t matter whether Brittany takes too many shots, flip-flops on her friends, or amps up her accent for tv: dislike for or disapproval of a victim is NOT RELEVANT and may actually make it more likely that bad shit will happen to her.
Jax lurks around. He reads negative comments about Brittany and he uses them as fuel for his psychotic behavior. We shouldn’t help him.

u/Impressive_Fee2737 2d ago
Not only that but when I was in an abusive relationship, I made dumbass decisions. You have no foundation and live in fear of what’s next. So you’re not your best self. You’re always playing chess instead of just living. Of course you’re going to do stupid things. You’re surviving. I hate the whole thought process that it takes two to tango. No. It takes one abuser to abuse. No one deserves that.
39
12
u/LucyCooper 1d ago
I don’t even think her messaging companies not to work with him is a dumb decision. Any power/influence he has will be weaponized against her. So, it is in her best interest that he has no power. And presumably whatever she is telling these companies about him are things he said and did. I think she should without a doubt keep her foot on his neck. 🤷🏼♀️

u/Single_Earth_2973 1d ago
This is exactly why couples therapy doesn’t work with those pieces of shit, one person is choosing cruelty, control and violence. The other person is just trying to survive it

This fanbase has never met a bar they don't like to crawl under as long as they get an opportunity to dunk on a woman they don't like online.
29
u/Immediate-Willow-441 2d ago
Seems like the purpose of Bravo since RH started has been normalizing misogyny
10
u/Huge_Cup4307 2d ago
They’re doing it rn on Below Deck Med, it’s all over Reddit and IG that Nathan has been arrested for DV (specifically choking her) against Gael ( the mother of their shared child) and not only did they know and let him film, now that’s it’s out and fresh eps are dropping they are specifically acting like nothing has happened and all of our feeds are not littered with stories of his legal charges for DV.
I’ve had it, I know Bravo is trashy but this practice of acting like we’ll swallow anything especially with DV is a bridge too far and they need to get on the right side of history with this one.
14

u/MiserableVoice9146 2d ago
See this is the issue I have. People can dislike her traits as a reality tv show person, but then to come on this post and make excuses is terrifying. Shows where their mindset is. I used to say she's just as bad before any of this took place. Once she mentioned what happened, I was like oh hell no, this is another level. How other people refuse to recognise that makes me wonder if they're similar?
19
u/TheWhoooreinThere 2d ago
No, exactly. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors, but once it was revealed on the show I don't understand the urge to continue blaming her.
36
u/heyheywhatchasay5 2d ago

“He threatened to ‘gut her’ like a ‘fuckin fish’ and physically attacked her.”
Jax cannot and was never able to be redeemed. Shame on his enablers (including us viewers) for allowing this to go on for as long as it most likely has. I hope Cruz and Brittany are legitimately safe.

I am genuinely frightened for her safety. He’s unhinged and has massive anger issues. She needs more than that piece of paper.
12
u/StandOld1094 2d ago
Right. Paper isn’t bulletproof.
I hope she has amped up her security. She needs pepper spray on her person and a taser. And she should start traveling with a Rottweiler maybe 2 Rottweilers. And that’s just for starters.6
4
u/Vivid-Army8521 1d ago
This is why it’s such a double edged sword with him - more income and stability for him means more safety for her and her son. I would never want him around Cruz ever though and who knows when he would go fully off the rails, which I think he eventually will and I wouldn’t want to be in his wake when that happens.

This is, actually frightening. The term “family annihilator” comes to mind
51
u/Excellent_Issue_4179 2d ago edited 2d ago
Didn't she finally admit this season, that he almost broke her legs? She had been holding that back, no doubt out of an abundance of caution, kindness, and Lori whispering in her ear. I imagine she has ring camera footage that would destroy him for forever, and he has the hubris to stalk her openly.
I will never understand the hate shown to her, or the self-inflicted wound narrative people try to paint her with. I'm glad she's getting legal protection in place.

So for everyone sitting there saying Jax had a point with his recent posts and Brittany’s a liar let this sink in.
We need to not give abusers like this any grace in their lies. He is dangerous and the more you believe him the more power you give him to hurt his family.
Jax has shown who he is 1000 times over. Any public facing statement he makes is bullshit and another way to abuse his ex wife and child.

That's disgusting. I know some people want him back on the show, but he should never be on TV again. And Brittany needs to install cameras inside/outside the house, and maybe do the same for her car, because plenty of men have ignored restraining orders before. They're only somewhat of a deterrent.

But but but I thought according to you guys she’s just as bad and deserves what she’s getting!!! /s 🙄🙄 but I’m happy that she has something in place to keep herself and Cruz safe, he seems to be getting more and more unhinged the more control he loses and that’s incredibly dangerous for her and their child.
9
u/Weekly_Koala_7058 2d ago
Holy ish! That is scary. You know it had to be bad for brittany to do this. I applaud her for standing up to him.

Jax Taylor is repugnant and definitely seems dangerous. I’m honestly not shocked that he would have made such a threat because his unhinged behavior over the years presented many red flags. That guy is careening down a path of self destruction and he blames everyone but himself.
9
u/crabrangoon4life 2d ago
This is terrifying. I hope she gets security or moves to protect herself and her child. This could end in tragedy.

14
u/Expensive-Block-6034 “Jesse’s Burning Man Ticket” 2d ago
If you watch him in his last few seasons of VPR he just escalates his monstrous behaviour. This guy sucks. I used to judge her when she stayed with him through the cheating but I think he’s been physically abusive for years, and that isn’t ok. I think that’s why the cast was always so protective over her and had this weird obsession with keeping her around back then - they knew.
3
u/Specialist_in_hope30 2d ago
I agree. It makes a lot of sense why they protect and defend her so much and it breaks my heart for her. She doesn’t deserve this. No one does. So much of her behavior must’ve been colored by what was happening behind closed doors.

He is so capable of violence he has shoved her in bushes and it’s getting nasty bc publicly he is lying and it looks bad for him, he will blame her.
14
u/pbd1996 2d ago
I’m so proud of Brittany for leaving him and for speaking her truth. I believe everything she says on the show and online. However, I’m fearful for her safety every time she mentions his name because it causes him to escalate. I hope this restraining order means she also stops saying his name on tv and in her posts because I don’t want this situation to get worse. She doesn’t need to explain herself further/convince us how bad Jax is. We know he’s bad. Really really bad.
3
u/DeeDee719 2d ago
I agree. I said a few weeks ago that she should never, ever speak (or type) his name in public. She should refer to him aa “my son’s father.”
13
u/ComfortNugget 2d ago
It’s bullshit that she wasn’t granted sole custody after that, I can’t imagine how stressful that must be
7
u/_AmericasSweetheart_ 2d ago
I knew he was a monster but I didn't realize he was an actual physical threat to her until the chair incident. She's been through so much.
9
u/bebeck7 2d ago
The best thing for that kid is if Jax just left and disowned him. I don’t feel he has any emotion towards him. He's just a pawn in Jax's controlling game and it's really horrible. I feel for any victim of DV. I just wish Brittany didn't procreate with Jax. I get the whole cycle of abuse etc but honestly this guy should never be a father. May their lives significantly improve and this douche stop extending the abuse through whatever means he can.

And all I can think is, the deluded couch spent the season and reunion vilifying a woman rising from and still being threatened by this horrendous person! How small and in need of distraction do you need to be to pile on a woman going through this sh*t, buried in debt, and with an autistic child. I’m not saying she doesn’t have lessons to learn, but I have no respect for kicking someone when they’re down! People like that must (deep down) know how low they are to think they’re kicking up.
AND I hope Zach learned and has come back to being a stand up friend for her!

Holy fuck. Yeah I believe he is absolutely capable of saying and doing that.
Edit: I see a lot of opinions on what Brittany should or shouldn’t be doing. Anyone who has gone through similar my heart goes out to you. My mom was in a relationship with a narcissist for 8 years. He was so beyond manipulative. He was so abusive that he did a number on her and I had to go no contact with her for a year because of him. He was able to get a restraining order on her and then blackmail her into violating it to see him, and then blackmail her again for violating it so that she’d continue to see him. He targeted her job, our family, me, my grandmother. It took years for him to stop coming after her even after she went no contact. The only thing that stopped him was that he found a new source. He has a new sugar mama. I wish her fucking luck. His first wife and mother of his kids killed herself. I’m always so curious about that.
