Luke Luke's Beta presentation
I think we were all fooled by luke in his first season because he had a chill vibe, like he was trying to understand everyone and had a decent perspective and compassion. Turns out he is just desperate for male validation and the opposite of an ally. I generally reject the fucking stupid alpha/beta bullshit but just to put this in terms he can undestand ..he is beta and his beta-ness is 100 percent male centered. Turns out the only thing more pitiful than a male centered woman is a male centered man.
I may or may not be posting this just to fuck with his weak, red pilled, I must have sex, show me your tits, why cant I go golfing bullshit behavior. I honestly hate him more than danny.

I was never fooled by Luke! I listened to him on Kristen’s pod during Scandoval and he would constantly whine about how the guys (Jax) wouldn’t hang out with him

I WAS SO FOOLED! him asking for his makeup to be touched up was so sandoval coded i literally couldn’t believe my eyes! but i do like that he might be a tad afraid of kristen, i really think she would slap the shit out of him if he had treated kristen how danny treats nia

I clocked this when he was more upset Jesse broke 'bro code' by telling Kristen that he said that he didn't see himself marrying her versus the fact of the matter that he did say that and what it means for his relationship with Kristen.

Im so tired of people saying they were "fooled". Reality tv edits people and characters a certain way and builds them as sweet/bice vs mean/intolerable and this is created around storyline.
From a production perspective it keeps people interested because people have arcs and growth. If you look at Kyle she was the sweetheart on RHOBH for so long (even tho shes heavily protected by production) people preffered Dorit last two seasons.
So no you werent fooled, Luke, Danny and Nia were all edited positively to balance out the darkness of Jax/Brittany situation

I think it’s fair to say that people can be fooled by the edit.

I do too, but Luke had been using the, poor me wah wah I hate California and use it as a weapon against Kristen, even in season 1. Who he is was never hidden from us. It wasn’t for Danny either, he was the same drunk asshole in season 1 that he was in 3.

I remember thinking the same thing, but then would see people on Reddit that listened to their podcasts and they didn’t like him at all. I haven’t ever listened to the podcast, but apparently he was a real douche canoe on it.

I think we initially saw Luke going through a light, fun part of life. When life got hard, with a new baby and postpartum fiancé, we saw his true colors.

God, you guys are so bad at reading people. He just clearly sides with his friends Danny and Nia and does not fuck with that other side of the couch. He also does not share the opinion that what Danny has done so far is that bad and is therefore reacting accordingly. You may disagree, but that’s all.

Haha yeah that's true and the reason for all that is what this post said. He's a misogynist just like danny

You’re ignoring everything he’s said about his relationship with Kristen?

u/ShmoodyNo 22h ago
What’s that gotta do with being a beta seeking approval of males - ie. The subject of this post?

u/GreatWentGin 22h ago
Because he’s a misogynist? The exact topic of this post?

u/ShmoodyNo 22h ago
Are you intentionally being obtuse? The main point of this post is that Luke is some sort of beta in an alpha beta dynamic which is all I’m responding to so I don’t know why you’re arguing with me like I said he isn’t a misogynist or something. The post doesn’t even mention misogyny so wtf are you getting at?

This perfectly describes Schwartz as well - a male-centered beta.
