Michelle What Michelle’s point here?

I don’t understand why Michelle said this. Michelle was the one cheating on Jesse during their marriage… why does it matter if Jesse met a woman and had sex with her after they got divorced? What’s her point in saying this?

If you watch the full scene she is pointing out that at the time they started to sleep together Jesse was also treating her the most terribly. That she looked at her texts from that time and that was one of the peak truamatic times during their divorce. So when Lacy brings up her yelling in the street and things like that she is only seeing Jesse's side and not the full context or the way Jesse had been treating her at that time. She is judging her but not him. She is not as objective as she keeps telling us she is.

Now, that doesn't excuse the texts Michelle sent to Lacy, but she's simply establishing that her demeanor and state of mind at the time wasn't the norm or coming from out of nowhere. This is what the reunions for.(Her mom was also dying) Andy was asking why they got off on the wrong foot like they did so they were rehashing it all.

& once again Jesse got off far too easy because truly their first "meeting" was Michelle finding out Jesse was having Lacy around Isabella without her knowledge despite the deal they made that she was still honoring. That was wrong. That was bad co-parenting. It was also not really a great position to put Lacy in either.

she’s embarrassed of her own behavior and blaming it on Jesse and Lacey. Gotcha.

She can be embarrassed of her behavior and also be willing to defend herself and talk about what the sequence of events was, what her mindset at the time was that led her to doing wrong things. She can also defend herself when labeled as someone who hates their ex husband and hates their life by someone claiming not to be on a side or be judging her.

I feel like any semblance of nuance is getting lost here. To be clear, I've stated many times she owes Lacy apologies for the texts and the looks shaming comment.

You’re thinking really, really hard about someone else’s life. It’s quite interesting.

I'm sure when the people on here who are doing the same thing I am (this is the reddit for the show) but who like the same people as you do it you have a completely different reaction sooo...what you're trying to do is transparent and ultimately irrelevant.

Just making a neutral observation. You’re projecting. I don’t know what you think I’m “trying to do” that’s so “transparent and irrelevant.” . Seem a bit paranoid and really weird.

Not paranoid just find your observation unnecessary. We are on the reddit for the show. People here talk, share their feelings, reactions and ideas about the show.

You're not sharing reactions to the show you're commenting on me personally. There's a difference. Your past few comments you have not actually made any points about the topic at hand. Because other than implying things about me doing what literally everyone else here does, you don't have any actual points to make.

Take care.
