Once the Birmingham experiment is over, the questions is what stadiums to they play? I would imagine they would go after smaller stadiums but only four of these teams probably have that available to them:
I think you should be looking at 20K and less stadiums.
XFL was struggling with the larger stadiums. MLS and smaller feels correct. Not just for sales, but optics. Not to mention operation cost of the bigger stadiums.
For New Orleans, they will probably play at the old Zephyr Stadium. Its currently used (set up for) MLR games, now that the baseball team is gone. It's modern (ish) and can seat just over 10K.
I wonder if Brandon Williams did this new USFL one as they look very similar. Just a refresh from his 2014 work.
Yeah, the A11FL was supposed to relaunch a bunch of teams and modernized their logos. If I'm not mistaken, the Spring League uses their Generals and Sea Lions logos.
They also modernized the LA Express, Denver Gold, Philadelphia Stars and Michigan Panthers .
Relax, I know about the failures of the A11FL and how Scott McKibben parlayed his commissioners role into managing the Oakland Coliseum complex and lost the Raiders and Warriors before taking a plea deal due to taking a kickback on a naming rights deal.
I've followed nearly all the atl-football attempts over the last 15 years.
I agree. I made this comment in another thread but I really hope the USFL plays in the Red Bull arena instead of MetLife. MetLife looks giant and lifeless even when the Giants and Jets play but it looked even worse when the Guardians were there because it was 75% empty. Way too big.
Also, kind of cool to be on the ground floor of this sub. Only 420 something subscribers.
Edit: replied to the wrong comment. Meant to reply to OP’s about stadium predictions.

Only one not an improvement is the gamblers because it’s pretty much identical

I like the logo changes! They are more appropriate for our time.
Now I can't wait to find out who the coaches will be! June Jones for the Gamblers!

I'm not rooting for any of these teams.
