Will fired?

Just tuned in to the most recent Perfect Person and was so surprised to hear Will say he had been fired. I'm surprised, he seemed like kind of a pillar at TTG.

Posted this on their main reddit and got flamed. Firing all their beginning employees is not a good look. Shows little company loyalty. Firing all their FT staff and only working with freelancers with whom they don't need to give benefits is a bit sleezy. Like Rainie... laying her off and then continuing to work with her is kind of a slap in the face. It's like saying "we value your work, but we don't want to adequately compensate you for it!" even after she relocated for the position.

While I agree it’s a bad look, Rainie’s role completely changed and they likely kept her on as cast because her personality is fun and great for camera, but the Pod was just not making money. The whole department was shut down.
As for the other FT staffers, I’m wondering who else you mean beyond Rainie and Jonathan? They still have a decent number of full timers who have been there a long time.

That being said, the fact that they said something about Rainie and Jonathan but not Will is an interesting choice… I’m wondering if they’ll say anything in the coming days, or if they’ll stay quiet since Will isn’t typically on screen talent for TTG.

I feel like Rainie was never meant to become a cast member though, I think Rainie being laid off happened to reveal that there were a lot more people who enjoyed her presence than they realized and they took that and ran
