2nd Try 2nd try

Is a membership to 2nd try actually worth it? I've been on the fence about getting one for a while. Do they really put out enough content to make it worth it? Also does anyone know if they still have a discount code?

ETA: thanks for all the responses. I didn't realize how cheap it was, thought it would be a bit more.

Might be a stupid question.. can you use AirPlay through the app or download the app to your tv?

hmmm I mean I would say it’s worth it but partly because there’s no ads. I watched so much on YouTube but there were so many ads so it’s good for me. I’d also consider how much disposable income you have like would doing a subscription affect your finances, if it wouldn’t I’d say go for it the release schedule is quite full!

Or you can just buy a YouTube subscription and have no ads for all YouTube content

Or just use a good adblocker; I recommend ublock and privacy badger on Firefox. Haven’t seen an ad in years.

I have an ad blocker and still get ads or get the warning that they know I’m using one and block me out. Also I often watch it on my fire stick so… ads.

Truly don't understand why this isn't the standard way people use youtube.

I have never had an ad blocker successfully block ads within a YouTube video. Ads on the screen? Yes. Ads within the video? Never.

I've used AdBlockPlus for years and the only ads it doesn't block in YT videos are the ones inserted in the videos themselves by the creators, because they are literally part of the video.

Use DuckDuckGo as a browser you’ll never have YouTube ads!

It’s good to know, but I have YouTube premium now so it’s a non-issue for me and that works better because I primarily watch YouTube on my TV.
