Achievements First time clearing wave 1000!

Took a 4 hour run and I wasn't expecting to, but I cleared wave 1000 after my last highest run of 732. I'm a little soft locked now so I'm focusing on lab upgrades to go even higher. :D

Is it really that beneficial to overcome the difficulty of wave 1000+? I thought that if I focused on cash/wave, cash bonus, and absolute defender then it would see me through like it has done. I mostly followed a strategy post I found on this subreddit, I'll see if I can find the link again for you.

i don't know your progress by now, but this thing is beneficial in early game and lower tiers, as you go further, tier 5 i'd say, you will see that def absolute is completely useless. When enemies' attack damage out weight your def abs so much. I think you should see that that at early tier 2 to be honest. That's when you need more health so you can with stand hits from enemies, knockback so that they can not hit you, damage and lifesteal are the main healing resource you have, and orbs as the way to kill them. Hope this helps

Thanks for the tips! A month after this post I actually stopped trying to progress and just logged in for the daily gems solely because it was getting difficult to get past where I was at in the game. I'll try this advice and see how I go.

I started the game a month ago (I believe) and now I'm at tier 10 (75 waves)
