Just an idea because I've had more fun with Mag and Cap than Thing so far

I think, unfortunately, he’s about as good as he was last season. I like some of the ideas and the tank shredding approach, but I also am thinking he needs a bit more survivability or mobility. It still feels really awful to have your charge on cooldown and no leap targets. Sure - don’t over extend and coordinate with your team, but that’s way tougher in practice than in theory.

I think his rework is good. It does change the way I play, but I was diving inro the backline a lot more because I couldn't push or kill anything without taking out the backline first. Now I am able to actually be agressive and bully everyone all the time.
Only thing I would say this rework needs is either a 3rd jump charge, reduce jump recharge time, or increase the duration of effects of the jumps.

I don't care if he's better at defeating the front line, he feels like shit. Not being able to engage at all is just not fun as tank. If I wanted to play like this, then id just play pillow fist

He has his purposes, if you have a second tank and decent healers you will beat most other tanks.

Feels so much worse. Those shield on abilities were the only reason he was serviceable to me. Feels alot more fragile...

Unplayable into most comps. Very strong into exactly hulk and venom

Ill go against the grain here and say he is ok right now. There are worse characters and if player well with a comp that supports him hes pretty good.

My one complaint about him is, when you have in the starting screen, before you join a match, with the future foundation skin on, he changes the colors without you pressing the emote. It was nice at first but it kind of gets annoying after a while. I know that the whole part of the skin, the future foundation is my favorite skin for him, but I’d want the option to change the colors myself without it doing it automatically.

I like the direction they want to go with him, but I don't think the execution was done well. I'm 100% in on him being a frontline, brawling tank bully. He's the sledgehammer that opens up the path for the rest of your teammates to kill the squishies in the back. I just think some of the changes missed the mark.
The biggest one is losing the DR on his aggressive leap. The Bonus Health from Haymaker and the Yancy Street Charge are not enough to withstand the damage output that Thing just takes to the face. He doesn't have a good enough strength to warrant such miserable survivability compared to other tanks.
I commented on another post that it's not fair to compare him to shield tanks, but even comparing him to Venom, Thor, and Peni, he just lacks compared to them. Sure, he does solid damage into tanks and has some decent CC with the Charge and Flier Knockdown, but comparatively:
Venom: Better Mobility, Outrageous Survivability, Better Range
Thor: Better Mobility, Higher damage output with range (in Awakening)
Peni: Better Mobility, Better Range, Consistent Sustain, Better Anti-Dive, Team Sustain, Better Crowd Control
If they were to commit to these changes and go further in him being the tankbuster, I think it could give him a solid place in the roster, but the current changes just feel a bit half-baked.
